Just type in the name of a book you've read and liked and it gives you a bunch of similar ones. :)

Check out our website where you could download the first two chapters of our book Deadly Focus for her to read etc. Our next book in the crime fiction series is out this summer and hopefully the following two will be published next year! :-) Although we write crime fiction we write with the knowledge of crime investigation that nearly half a century has brought us. Therefore the bodies and scenes that we write about are ones that my husband has seen time and time again... www.rcbridgestock.com. If you want to ask us any questions feel free!

David Morrell's The Totem is a horror classic, praised by Stephen King. Morrell is the "father" of Rambo, by the way, the author of First Blood and arguably the modern action genre, but he's also written a couple of horror/suspense books.

She might like to try Dan Simmons. He's a cross-genre writer: horror, suspense, sci-fi and probably has something in his canon that she'll like. Also Robert McCammon would be another writer she might like.

Im posting this on a few groups im a member of in hopes of getting a response somewhere. My mother has recently started herself a book collection, she has not been a reader since i was a baby so she is kinda out of the loop as to who is good as far as authors and i cant really help her because like 2 different types of books. My mother likes horror/scary books like, i know she is a big fan of Stephen King and John Saul. Those are the only authors she knows of now LOL Can anyone tell me some good authors that write books similar to those 2 authors i named that i can tell her about because she has been hounding me about it? I would greatly appreciate any help.
