Art Club discussion

I'm going to do cartooning in general... kind of a big subject. I want to be able to draw someone WITHOUT copying a picture. [this does not mean drawing a cartoon. it means drawing from memory/imagination. my art teacher went over this soo many times and I already knew about it from his website before I came...)

I don't know what to do, I suck mondo at pretty much every drawing style.

I think I might do folds and hands. I'm okay at hands, but they could still use improvement, and folds just scare me. O.o

Oh, and just an fyi, I won't be on for a few days to a week 'cuz I'm grounded. (Not that I'm totally active in this group anyway *facepalm* need to work on that....) So... yeah.

I'm sooooo tired..... It's 12:21 AM here. Bleh. And I still don't have the slightest idea what to draw. Maybe I'll do an animal... I stink at animals.

I've spent the last two hours on my entry. No, I have to scan it on my junky scanner. :/ I tackled laying down, males, and side views. I was about to include cars as well, and running, but that didn't fit. :/

And song writing. ;)

I hate my scanner. It cropped off like the majority of my image, so i guess, only song writing, side views, and laying down. No guys for now. :/

One thing I hate painting is hair, so that's what I focused on...also, I tried doing this without any kind of sketch and just started painting blobs. :D

Aww! The bunny looks a bit like a puppy, but still it's better than any bunny I could draw.

Ummmmm is it possible to extend the end date another month? XDXDXD mine is kindof a long term project XD

this is what I have so far. I am tackling both doing an entire body instead of just the face, as well as doing a fantasy thing (though I forgot to draw the wings XD still need to do that) aaaand... learning to draw on photoshop.

First I did two drawings with pencil on real paper, one of the body in general (studied my book on basic figure drawing for that, then made it shorter cuz she is shorter in real life) then one of the face, copying a photograph from a halloween party that Titan took.



Then here is a closeup of the face plus some of my digital drawing showing through,


And here is the digital drawing portion by itself. It's taking my forever and I have to draw each thing multiple times XD so far I'm only happy with the nose.



sooo as you can see, this is REALLY HARD but it's also rather fun :) I've probably spent hours on just that much XD I have testing next week though.

oh I forgot to say, I merged the two original drawings together on photoshop. I had to draw the face big in order to get it to look like her (and it doesn't look that much like her but I think she'll like it anyway XD) so I copied and pasted it onto my other drawing.

also I probably drew like three eyes but the two on the face are the same one and one is reversed XD and then I copied and pasted the pupil so that they would both be looking in the same direction XD

The nose actually looks real o.o
THAT IS AMAZING I WOULD PETITION TO EXTEND THIS PROJECT A YEAR IF NEED BE IF YOU COULD DO THAT WITH THE ENTIRE FACE.

Yeah, um..... I totally forgot about this contest..... and I don't know if I can get my scanner to scan the darn image once I get the drawing done.

But I will try!! I'm gonna try to do a hand in a funky different pose that I've never done before. O.O Wish me luck!!!!

Awesome, Silver! The nose looks legit.

It's so cute, right? I usually hate anthro, but this is probably the only one I can take.
