Alright, got it, and started reading it last night. At the beginning of chapter 3 right now, really enjoying it so far.

I still haven't picked up my copy yet. If I don't make it to Target today, I'll get it on my Nook, and start reading it.

It was very, very good! Left me happy with a smile, sweet but not too syrupy, good characters I felt like I could be friends with, and I was even laughing out loud in a couple of spots. You should definitely get to reading it ✿Michelle✿ :)

I've been thinking of trying that one b/c it seems like everyone and their brother's reading it nowadays, and it does sound pretty good... but I'm afraid it'll make me have to think too hard so I admit I'm a lil intimidated.

Yes, Kit★, it is definitely a thinker! Lots of subterfuge and darkness. I must admit I almost quit reading a couple of times. Animals get killed and, you know , I’m an animal lover! Still, it is very well written and the characters and story are compelling. I am not expecting Donna Reed to put in an appearance any time soon, LOL!

Do you need to have read all of the Bridgertons to enjoy this JQ? I though I read somewhere that it kind of continued?

I think you might appreciate the inside joke a little better if you do. I some people who hadn's read the Bridgertons and didn't like the story; however, I've seen some who loved it anyway.

What does everyone else think?

hmm, I'm only up to the 4th Bridgerton book, so I might wait to finish those before I start this one... so many books, so many series, so little me!!!

That is one I have slotted for this summer as well, but who knows maybe I'll turn into a chubby chunkster-holic! LOL! One can only hope! ;o)

I comitted to the Romance Readers Reading Challenge -- Chubby Chunkster. I started late, so I'm only saying I read a total of 5 books b/f 12/31. Only read one so far, but I'm 64% through !! Yea, over 1/2 way done! :)

I haven't even started the Bridgerton series yet. I'm thinking I should wait now too. Hmmm....

I don't think knowing the Bridgertons is required before reading Just Like Heaven. My opinion anyways. A couple of them made brief appearances, but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. :)

I agree with Kit★; not a big deal. Maybe slightly more enjoyable. Couldn't say, as I read them.
