Blogs are a wonderful tool. In my Aeon Byte Blog I throw every angle and media I can use to get traffic going, and it has helped my book 'Voices of Gnosticism'. Same with the 'Stargazer' blog. My advice is to pay Google the ten books and get rid of the 'blog' in your address, making it look like a bona fide web page. Also you can put your own icon in it. And let's face it, Google search engines are friendlier to Blogger than let's say Wordpress, although they'll deny it. I personally try to use it less as a diary because my fiction is a diary, and sooner or later someone is going to use it against you in an under the belt way.
