Laura (leh123) | 1 comments I have a lot of books out from the library at the moment, but I think the next few I'll probably read include:

Pandemonium - Lauren Oliver
Article 5 - Kristen Simmons
Everneath - Brodi Ashton
Awaken - Katie Kacvinsky
Patient Zero - Jonathan Maberry
Fracture - Megan Miranda

I'm also tempted to reread Blood Red Road (Moira Young), the Vampire Academy series (Richelle Mead), and the first two books of the Newsflesh trilogy (Mira Grant).

How do you put book covers/links in comments?

Click "add book/author" right above the comment box and then click either "link" or cover, search the book you want, and hit "add"

I really liked Awaken! And you should definitely add both Blood Red Road and Vampire Academy to your list. They are both awesome. VA is one of my all time favorite series.

Amanda (amonika) Bethany wrote: Ooo, Amanda...you need to read City of Lost Souls!!! It was sooooo good!

I have heard that, but I am just kind of annoyed at the series and where it was headed and I'm having a hard time finding the motivation to pick it up. She did the same thing with the Clockwork Prince novel and AHHHHHHHHHHH, I just can't get motivated to read it.

Well, my dear...let me help you out! Because I was not super motivated either. I was SO disappointed with the last book. But I heard a lot of people say that this one was better so I finally just started it. And, YEAH, it was definitely better. I can't help but have this separation in my mind between the first three books and the last three. And even if City of Heavenly Fire, like, blows me away. It still won't be better than the first three books for me. But that's just my opinion. But, as for City of Lost Souls as it's own book, I thought it was much stronger than the last one. And I struggled with putting it down, so that says something, lol.

I might start it when I finish the current book I'm reading. It has been on my Kindle for over a month and I just couldn't start it. Honestly, this serious should have just stopped after the 3rd book. She had it wrapped up in a pretty bow with a great story line and then the 4th book happened and I lost a lot of faith in where the story was going.

actually, Wicked was pretty good. I think you'll be amused how they portray Dorothy. If I recall correctly, it's how the girls grew up together. I liked it!

NICE! I would say Divergent. Enclave. Maze Runner. Uglies. Matched. Thats just my personal opinion of best to worst. Not that Matched was terrible, just not very strong overall, IMO. But, regardless, that's a good list. You've got some great reading ahead of you!

message 149: by Taylor (new)

Taylor (taytortots) | 3 comments To be honest i'm reading matched because my firned told me to. I'm not interested too much in stories that are only about love but we'll see how it goes. I'm mostly excited about Divergent, Maze Runner and Enclave ^.^

message 150: by Bethany (new)

Bethany I see. Well, you may still enjoy it. I'm not trying to imply that it's total garbage. But it is one of those books that really centers around the romance. I just didn't think that the story was strong enough overall to make it a great book.

You will LOVE Divergent, I can hardly put into words how amazing it is, but it's AMAZING! So, I hope you thoroughly enjoy it :)
