I love anything by Raymond Chandler

message 609: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) The Big Sleep is always a good starting point, as it's the first in the series

message 610: by Michael (new)

Michael (knowledgelost) It's only a series cause every book has PI Philip Marlowe in it, you can read them in any order you want.

message 611: by Michael (new)

Wow Bronwyn, you're doing great!!! Over a month left to go, you'll romp it in!!!

message 614: by Bronwyn (new)

Bronwyn Rykiert | 315 comments I am having trouble coming up with a book that was published in either June/July/August of 2011. I notice that a couple of book that have been chosen were published in May. I get my books from the library so I will have to keep looking - if anyone has a recommendation please feel free to give it.

4. Sing You Home - Jodi Picoult

I don't think I'm going to be able to finish, I have exams until the 20th of August. It's a shame my english texts don't fit into this challenge.

message 628: by Emily (new)

It's not as good as My Sisters Keeper but its still very good.
