Some nice books there. I have been looking at Still Alice worried it might frighten me as I seem to be getting so forgetful.

Sally906 | 87 comments I thought starting might be ok if I wasn't going to be finished soon. But it is a non-fiction I'll put it down and back away from the book. I'll toe the line I'll be good. I can be good just ask my husband.....no on second thoughts don't ask him LOL!

Parts of the blurb from the book....

BUT, I am taking back my comment about not finishing The Dark and Hollow Places in thre next three days. Ive read over 100 pages today, and plan on reading heaps more. Maybe, homework permitting, I'll get it done!

I've just finished it and review is up. I am so sad it is a trilogy I want MORE and I loathe zombies :)

I am also not a fan of zombie books, but this trilogy is EXCEPTIONAL.

5..choosing a book which has been transformed into a movie Atonement Ian McEwan
6..Read a book with a word starting with the letters of WINTER in the title Nation Terry Pratchett
7..Read an Aussie author's book or books with an Aussie landscape/locale in it Wildwood Dancing Juliet Marillier
8..Choose a New Release which will be out somewhere in the 3 month period of Winter Behold a Pale Horse Peter Tremayne
9..Pick a friend on your GR list and also select and read a book they have read (From Sharon) The Quest Susan Kearney

I haven't decided on the 'Bonus' book yet

I haven't made my list yet because I forgot about this challenge! Hopefully it will be picked soon ... running out of time before everyone starts without me.

We have it here at Curtin Uni Library! I've been waiting until the end of semester before I could get back to reading 'what I want'. This challenge is a good shot in the arm! :D

Me get one too? I put a book back down - that took sooooooo much effort - even now it is sitting on the bedside table sobbing quietly pleading with me to not reject it and pick it up and love it again...

Bron - All Quiet On The Western Front is a superb choice. Despite being written so many years ago it is totally empathetic to the experiences of all young men caught up in war.

Hi Monya, I can't wait to get into All Quiet of the Western Front. One of those books I've been wanting to read but never quite got to yet (actually there's a few like that on my list!).
