Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Is there really any rhyme or reason for some books having such differences in page numbers and what are posted on Goodreads? I am just asking b/c I have come across that have been 50 to even 100 pages out of whack.

Is there one place or site you use to give those stats? or is it what the publisher sets?


Just curious...

Amazon numbers are often wrong. I usually go with what WorldCat has unless I have that exact edition in my hands.
