Alex Sinclair This thread is here for people to leave a book they want to be tagged, but if you do so please tag some of the other authors too.

message 2: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments I'm willing to tag everyone's - here's my link - my Amazon author page

http://www.amazon.com/Missy-Martine/e...

I have 7 books listed on there.

I'm happy to tag you all. Here is my amazon connection:
http://www.amazon.com/Jean-C.-Joachim...
Not necessary to tag the kid's activity books, just the fiction, pleaswe. Thank you!

message 4: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments Okay Jean, I've tagged and "liked" all of yours (I had already done 2 of them previously) I didn't read it carefully enough to see you said to ignore the kids books (what I get for doing it before breakfast) - on the ones that had no tags to agree with I read the synopsis and added some appropriate ones.

When you do this be sure and check the "Like" box up near the top where the book title is - it affects the ratings of the books.

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
Thank you, Missy! I had done yours previously.

message 6: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair Hi Missy & Jean. I have tagged and liked all of them, lol. So many books and JEAN!!! You have a kids book that has 3 top 100 rankings, that is amazing.

I do? I'll have to check that. Thanks, Alex! I'll make sure I've liked and tagged all yours.

Want a good laugh? That activity book doing so well, the Ancient Egypt Book, was a work for hire. They paid me a flat fee to write it and pay no royalties! The damn book has been selling like crazy and I get nothing. I haven't done a thing to promote it either! What a joke on me!!! LOL. Got to love the irony of this.

message 10: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair Just write another one. You are the best selling author. People will read what "YOU" write.

message 11: by Jean (new)

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
I have to ask Sterling if they want to hire me again. It took a month to write that 45-page book. That is a paperback, by the way. Can't have a Kindle version of an activity book. A lot of work. I should contact them, or just refer to myself in my promos for "Sunny Days" as the "best-selling author of dot-to-dot books for kids" ROFLMAO!! So ironic, it tickles me.

I wrote five of those type books. Where the hell are the other four??

message 12: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments Okay, Alex - I've "liked" and tagged all of yours :)

message 13: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair Thank you Missy. Just keep bumping your link for when other people start joining in.

Mmmmm activity book for kindle? Could that be doable. I mean a lot of kindle owners have small children. Reading a childs book might be useful to kids. Something in the same sort of feel. I will have to look on kindle and see what is hot in the kids world.

message 14: by Jean (new)

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
The activity is connect the dots, can't yet be done on Kindle, though maybe someday. The text was fun to write and I had a completely free hand.

message 15: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair mmmm what about mazes or guess the word, other kids games of similiar style that they could play on kindle?

message 16: by Jean (new)

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
There may be those. Sterling Publishing only asked me to do dot-to-dot and word search, which I did. Word search is a lot more work. Can't do that on Kindle yet, either.

message 17: by Therese (new)

Therese Gilardi | 58 comments thanks, i would love to be tagged.

Please repost link, Therese.

Alex Sinclair http://www.amazon.com/Matching-Wits-w...

Here is Therese's link. It was a link on top of a link, which is why it didn't work. I have tagged and liked your book!

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
I tagged you as an Astraea author, Therese.

message 21: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments "Liked" and Tagged Therese

message 22: by Therese (new)

Therese Gilardi | 58 comments thanks a lot, and thanks for fixing my link, alex. i've liked and tagged you guys.

message 23: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair No worries. I have done that in the past too, lol.

message 24: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair I was just thinking. Feel free to tell friends and what not, the more people involved the better for the books.

message 25: by J. (new)

J. (jgunnargrey) Agreed, Alex. Here are my links.

message 26: by J. (new)

J. (jgunnargrey) Never mind. Tags have vanished. Another example of Amazon cracking down on authors.

message 27: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments I think it's because they added the section toward the bottom that reads: They have boxes in front of each line for you to put checks in. I guess they don't want you thinking up your own anymore. You can still "like" the books up at the top near the title.

Therese Gilardi | 58 comments thanks missy!

message 29: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair Yes, it seems that amazon has now removed all the tags from the kindle book pages. It will make things a little harder, but also slightly more even in the sense that now everyone is in the same boat.

message 30: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments They're still on the print books, so anyone with print on Amazon can go ahead and post here and we'll tag them for you.

message 31: by Jean (new)

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
Thanks for info, Missy. "Sunny Days, Moonlit Nights" is in print. Would appreciate tagging and liking if you have the time. Thank you!

message 32: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments It's done, Jean.

message 33: by Jean (new)

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
Thank you so much!

message 34: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair I didn't realise it was still in print books. The book of the month comes to an end today and next month it works under a new format, so I can finally do some blogs on promotion & marketting that I haven't been able to do for a month. That should be helpful now that the tags have gone.

message 35: by Jean (new)

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
Yes, it should. So much to do and so little time!

message 36: by Elaine (new)

Elaine Cantrell (elainecantrell) | 87 comments I'd love to have my last two books tagged. They are Return Engagement and A New Dream. I'll be glad to tag yours in return.

message 37: by Missy (new)

Missy Martine (missymartine) | 88 comments I'm happy to tag but could you put a link to your books please?

message 38: by Alex (new)

Alex Sinclair I was thinking of doing a like a thon, same idea as the tagging, but you can still like books.

message 39: by Jean (new)

Jean (jeanjay) | 249 comments Mod
