Of the three, we learn the most about Macros, but we garner a key piece of information from Tomas's ancient memories.

What struck me most about Macros was a reference to, I think, the legend or myth of the Wandering Jew.

And an Arthurian reference could be gleaned when Tomas embedded his sword in the Lifestone.

Any other thoughts on these three characters?
