moulin | 44 comments Elke...while determining your picks, I kept deviating from our chosen category and delving into the Paranormal Romance. So despite my great restraint and dutiful self-composure every time I scrolled your TBR list, you will notice I slipped a J.R. Ward in the mix. Just in case, you want to get started on that roller-coaster!

So here goes:

THEIR TBR
1. Highlander Ever AfterI looked at this book and was intrigued enough to want to begin the series.
2. The Lady Most Likely...: A Novel in Three Parts The cover makes me happy and the premise incites me.
3. Never Romance a Rake The cover screams envy and jealousy. I hope the rake is deliciously devious and gets a dose of his own medicine!

From my Read
4. Another Chance to Dream Though this writer does tell time-travel stories, this one is not. It was my first novel from this author and once I began I had to get to know the entire De Piaget family. This story is an emotional twist that makes you feel good to have discovered it.
5. Dark Lover If I get "kicked off the island" for this one, I'll understand! But I guarantee you won't stop at just one. You need a stormy night to stop the world and leave you in peace with this bad boy!
6. Redeeming Love This one doesn't disappoint. This is the second time I recommend it. It is a gem.

BUDDY READS
7. Entwined I have to begin reading this one. I made my husband go pick it up for me and it has sat calling my name on my shelf for weeks. I just have been distracted with..oh you know...LIFE!
8. Ruthless This one is an alternative if Entwined doesn't catch your eye. I saw this and had to put it on my tbr.

Thanks for the friendship. Happy reading!

Tania | 644 comments Just a quick note to clarify - the category / cover criteria was only a way to randomly generate the picking list for the month. You don't HAVE to stick to your category when making your picks.

It was just a way to put you with people who may have similar tastes to you (no guarantees though ;)

Heather (messybar) | 189 comments Hi Cathy,
Hope you enjoy something out of this list!

From you TBR Shelf
Intriguing Book:
Firewalker This intrigued me so much, I put the first one on my TBR list.

Happy Cover/Book:
How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf Loved the lead in this and Molly Harper is one witty writer!

Envious:
Eclipse Oh, to be new to the book/series. This was my favorite quartet.

Firewalker (Stormwalker, #2) by Allyson James How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf (Naked Werewolf, #1) by Molly Harper Eclipse (Twilight, #3) by Stephenie Meyer

From My Read Shelf
Last 5 Star Book:
Divergent I can not rave about this book enough. It was just seat of my pants exciting.

Stormy Night Read:
The Flame and the Flower No idea how many times I've read this one. Historicals always cry for stormy night reading to me.

Pick-Me-Up Read:
To Die For The lead is such a woot, she always puts a smile on my face. (This is book 1 of 2)

Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth The Flame and the Flower by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss To Die For (Blair Mallory, #1) by Linda Howard

Buddy Reads
Next on my TBR:
Grave Witch It's not really on the top of my list, but I never work from the order my TBR shows up anyway. We both have it TBR, so maybe we should give it a go.

From your TBR:
Undertow I could only pick one? I think I've put 5 or 6 (so far) from your lists on my TBR. LOL Anyway, who wouldn't be drawn into this with a cover like that?

Grave Witch (Alex Craft, #1) by Kalayna Price Undertow (Cutter Cay #1) by Cherry Adair

~Megan~ (megadee) Picks for Emily May:

Hope I found something you will like! :)

1. Intriguing book: Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer - I'm always pulled in by the cover even though I've read this book. It's a great book and extremely well written...very hard to read in some parts all the things these people go through. I haven't been brave enough to start the rest of the series yet.

2. Makes Me Laugh: Size 12 Is Not Fat by Meg Cabot OR Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella - You don't have either of these on your TBR, but I see where you've enjoyed these authors in the past. In my opinion, these are the best works from each of them.

3. Makes Me Envious: Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh - This is probably my favorite series in the world, and I'm so jealous you get to read it for the first time. I got completely sucked into this world for about two weeks when I first began it.

4. My 5 Star Read: Queen of Shadows by Dianne Sylvan - Didn't read it recently, but I think it's one you will enjoy. It blew me away and I'm dying for the next book!

5. Stormy Night Read: Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier - An amazing gothic classic that is DYING to be read on a stormy night.

6. Pick-Me-Up Read: Saving Grace by Julie Garwood - I'm going out on a limb here because it doesn't seem like you read all that much historical romance, but there is no other author in all the world that picks me up more than Garwood. Pretty much every one of her historicals is on my keeper/comfort read shelf, and this one is probably my favorite.

7. Next Book from my TBR: A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole - Been putting this one off for a while now, so this would be a good reason to get it off my TBR pile.

8. Book from your TBR that I'm Adding: Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder - I enjoyed the Poison Study series pretty well, so I'm hoping I'll like this one too!

Moloka'i -I thought the cover was beautiful. The story looks interesting but not one of my usual pleasure reads.

It Had to Be You- you dont normally see books marketed to woman with just boobs on them. Normally there is a hot guy to make the ensemble complete, so this cover made me giggle thinking about it.

Hunting Julian-i read the second book not knowing it was part of a series and I enjoyed it but I dont think it's worth going back to the first book since i know how it all turns out.

From Your Read Shelves
ok it is really hard for me to hand out 5 stars willy nilly so the 5 stars reads that i have causes me to gush on and on and on. The last 5 book I read was Promises but since you are currently reading that, i shall suggest My Summer of Wes. Just recommending them is causing me to want to go back and read them ^.^

Hunting Ground is probably my most read book ever. You would have to read the first book in the series which is Cry Wolf so you know what was going on but it would be so worth it.

Off the top of my head i would say anything Jennifer Crusie. I dont have a specific book but i'll recommend Bet Me

Buddy Reads
My next read is The Archer for another Challenge. I keep putting it off because it's kinda large and intimidating but i'll get through it!

Boy Meets Boy-totally just added it to my list.

Thanks for teh recomndations Dee!!

First off, We like never talk! We have so many friends/books in common. We're gonna have to change that ^.^

I would totally love to do a buddy read with you! I'm game for Acquainted with the Night

I am also debating between reading Nerd in Shining Armor and Bloodfever because I was just told about the Vicki Lewis series and I figured i'd give it a go. and i've been trying to read the fever series for forever and a day.

Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal sounds great and I plan to add it to my ever growing TBR pile but dont think I can take it on this month.

So yeah! Thanks again for the suggestions.

Vi | 2794 comments Hi Sarah, thanks for the early picks. I didn't expect to get my picks so soon.

I loved Duran's Bound by Your Touch but for some weird reason, I haven't read any after that. I'm probably going to read Wicked Becomes You.

And hey, a shapeshifting dragon series? Count me in. We can do a buddy read for either of them or both :)

Anyway, I'm going to read: Wicked Becomes You, How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf and Kiss of Fire and I'm bumping up City of Bones in my TBR.

Thanks for the awesome picks Sarah. Let me know about the buddy reads.

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Tania, I'm having trouble with your HUGE TBR and my apparent lack of a brain today. But I'll do my best to come up with a book I think you'll like.

From Their TBR Shelves
1 - Tough call. What intrigues me? I'm not usually one who goes by cover. But I have to say the Night Huntress books all had a sexy red-head looking dark and mysterious. As the song says, "Red hair and black leather - my favorite color scheme." I'm actually shocked that you have not read this series to date. There are currently seven books in the series. Do yourself a favor and start these soon. The series starts with Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost

2 - Well, I pick Slave (Cat Star Chronicles, #1) by Cheryl Brooks . I read this and the cheesy factor was so over the top as to make it a fun read. I'm glad I saw this on your TBR shelf as you really should take an afternoon and read this. They you'll say, 'OMG I'm sort of embarrassed to have actually read that. But at the same time I found myself enjoying it.'

3 - I see Angels' Blood (Guild Hunter, #1) by Nalini Singh on your shelf. I plan on reading this in the next week or two. 4600+ ratings with a 4.23 average on a book one in a series? Damn. I'm excited to start it.

From Your Read Shelves
4 - Well, I just don't generally give a 5 star rating to anything. One or two books a year get that and it's usually on a reread of a book that had an impact and I find that it still has an impact. As such, the last book I read with ***** was The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry . Everyone should re-read this book every couple of years. What a great story. But if you want something more recent that I feel has been a fantastic read, I'll have to give you a **** book. A series that is full of four star books is the J.D.Robb In Death series. I see that you read the first seven of them and rated the least of them four stars. Keep reading the series. They only get better and better. The mysteries don't get newer, the supporting cast grows to mean as much to you as Eve and Roarke if not more. LOVE THIS!

5 - Tough call. I curl up with a book most nights. So stormy night is no different. I have been woefully short on erotica recommendations so I might as well put a couple here. I see you have quite number of menage books. Opal Carew writes several that I think you might enjoy. I've read both Blush by Opal Carew and Six by Opal Carew . You have a couple Lacey Alexander books but I started with one that is not on your list - Voyeur by Lacey Alexander .

6 - If I'm looking for a laugh I read Christopher Moore. Two of my favorites are Lamb The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore and A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore . His sense of humor is not for everybody, but many people find very funny parts. Lamb has more than 27,000 ratings and a 4.25 average. That tells me I'm not alone in my appreciation though.

Buddy Reads
7 - If you've look at my shelves at all, you will quickly see that I don't keep a TBR list. I buy books on a whim, go to the library at least once or twice a week, and trade books with people all the time. This means that I have a huge pile of books to read and it is always changing. If I was to actually start listing them, I'd feel that I would be obligated to actually read them at some time. So I finish a book and sometime that day I start another. It rarely takes me more than 10-15 minutes to decide what I'll read next as I have a handful that are just screaming "READ ME!" I named one book already I plan on reading in the next couple of weeks. I also plan on reading Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander, #1) by Karen Marie Moning , Babysitting the Baumgartners (An Erotic Menage Coming of Age Tale) by Selena Kitt , Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling #1) by Nalini Singh , and I'll keep reading the Mercy Thompson series though I see you've already read all of those. I do 12-18 books a month so if you have an idea for a buddy read, just let me know.

8 - I saw the next Fast Track book on your list and forgot that it had come out. I'm going to have to find The Chase (Fast Track, #4) by Erin McCarthy since I saw it on your list. I really liked the first three and see no reason that wouldn't continue.

If you don't like the recs, just let me know if you are looking for a different track and I'll happily try again. Otherwise there are some really good books on this list that I think you would like.

Enjoy.

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments Kerste, thanks for the great picks. I'm going to have to see what I can find before I tell you what I plan on reading.

I know it's shocking isn't it. I started out diligently listing the books I own on GR, but it's quickly become more of a check these out someday list. Like yourself I do a lot of impulse book buying and library hunting. So now I use calibre to track the books I own and GR to track the books I want to read at some stage.

Thanks for the great recs. I'm definitely putting Halfway to the Grave and Six on my to read this month list.

I'd actually planned on reading Slave to Sensation this month so let me know when you're going to be reading it and we can do a buddy read on it. I picked up a second hand copy so I'm not reliant on my library for this one - so you pick the timing.

Jim son of Jim (formerly PhotoJim) (jim_formerly_photojim) | 5294 comments I had to have my library order it through the MORE system (inter-library loan type thing). My wife (sitting about 8' away from me right now) is on page 262 and really enjoying it. She'll finish tomorrow and I'll start it this week sometime. Just say when.

Damn, wednesday can't come soon enough for me! so for the first few days in June, I'm likely to be incoherent, lol. Anyway, I should be able to do the buddy read after June 5th. Maybe we can start with Kiss of Fire around next weekend? I should be able to pick it from the library by then. We can do the Duran later.

This is my second buddy read, so I'm excited too :)

Debbie (db_debber) | 2757 comments Hey Lindsey, here are the recommendations that I have come up with for you. I hope you are able to find something that you want to read in June, if not let me know and I will have at it again.

From Your TBR Shelf
1 - Intrigued - I really enjoyed Wicked Appetite by Janet Evanovich. It was fun and an interesting twist of a spin off from the Stephanie Plum numbers series.
2 - Happy Cover - What else could make a girl happy than the cover of Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy
3 - Envious - Another good looking cover caught my eye, with Sawyer by Lori Foster

From My Read Shelf
4 - 5 stars - My last 5 star was actually a Lords of the Underworld book, but you have read them also, so I will go with the next one which is a YA adventure. Graceling by Kristin Cashore
5 - Stormy Nights - I usually like something fun and light on a stormy night, so this time I will go with Jennifer Crusie's Maybe This Time. It is fun and light and fast moving with lots of twists and mystery, very distracting.
6 - Pick-Me-Up - My comfy feel good fall back is usually Debbie Macomber. If there is a Blossom Street available I enjoy them. The first in the series is The Shop on Blossom Street

Buddy Reads
7 - Next - well, not really my next, but Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning has been on my TBR for a while and I see it on yours as well. That would make for a good buddy read I think.
8 - Adding - I have only read one of Kristin Hannah's books, and enjoyed it. Seeing True Colors on your TBR has reminded me how much I did enjoy it and want to read another of hers.

Wicked Appetite (The Unmentionables, #1) by Janet Evanovich Flat-Out Sexy (Fast Track, #1) by Erin McCarthy Sawyer (Buckhorn Brothers, #1) by Lori Foster Graceling by Kristin Cashore Maybe This Time by Jennifer Crusie The Shop on Blossom Street (Blossom Street, #1) by Debbie Macomber Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning True Colors by Kristin Hannah

~KarenH~ | 11353 comments Here are your picks, Alexis – I hope you find something you like. If not, let me know and I’ll be happy to try again!

From Their TBR Shelves
1 - Pick a book that makes you feel intrigued (by the storyline/cover whatever you choose): Outlander It’s an amazing story with wonderful characters that just suck you in and won’t let go. Simple Jess I’ve heard so much about how wonderful this book is – some day I’m actually going to get around to reading it!
2 - Pick a book with a cover that makes you laugh or feel happy: Double Play A book about baseball players with a hot cover – what’s not to like? Nerd in Shining Armor The cover on this book just looks like it has to be a fun read.
3 - Pick a book that makes you envious that it's on their shelves: I had trouble with this one, because all the books you have on your shelves that I really wish I had you’ve already read. I chose The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf because I’ve just recently picked up the audio version of the first book in the series, and even though I haven’t listened to it yet I have a feeling I’m going to want this book as soon as I finish the first one.

From Your Read Shelves
4 - Pick the last book that made you feel so good you rated it 5 stars: No Place to Run I’m fudging just a bit on this one, because the last book I gave 5 stars to was actually the third book in this series and it looks like you haven’t read the second one yet – but since I gave this one 5 stars also, I figured I could get away with it!
5 - List the book you would curl up with on a stormy night: Depending on the situation, for me a stormy night could call for something very intense or something light and funny, so I’ll give you one of each. I noticed you’d read the first book in Pamela Clare’s I-team series and liked it, so if you’re looking for something intense I would definitely recommend that you continue that series with Hard Evidence. For something light and funny I would go with Smitten (or actually just about anything by Janet Evanovich).
6 - List the book you pick up when you most need a pick-me-up or a laugh: Again two choices, depending on whether you’re looking for something more emotionally uplifting or lighter and humorous. For a gut-wrenching, emotional read that will leave you with a major case of the warm and fuzzies, Baby Love is absolutely amazing. If you want something that is also emotional, but with more humor and fun, I love anything by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, but my favorites are her Chicago Stars series, which starts with It Had to Be You. Of course, if you're looking for just light and funny a couple of the previous choices would also work here.

Buddy Reads
7 - Pick the next book you want to read from your TBR shelf: I’ve been trying to get to Lisa Kleypas’ Wallflowers series for a long time, and have finally managed to fit Secrets of a Summer Night into a challenge next month.
8 - Pick the book from their TBR shelf that you are seriously considering adding to yours: I’ve been hearing a lot about Simply Irresistible for a while now, and have been looking for an excuse to buy it.
If you’re interested in reading either one of these, I’d love to read it/them with you!

It was fun looking through your shelves even though we don't have very many books in common.

From Your TBR
1. Intrigued me - the title and cover are great. How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack: Defend Yourself When the Lawn Warriors Strike by Chuck Sambuchino
2. Cover that makes me laugh or feel happy - nothing stood out in that way, so I went with what made me happy was on your TBR because it's a great book. Moon Called by Patricia Briggs. This has one of my all-time favorite heroines.
3. Envious - The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and Unearthly by Cynthia Hand are both on my wishlist.

How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack Defend Yourself When the Lawn Warriors Strike (And They Will) by Chuck Sambuchino Moon Called (Mercedes Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand

From My Read Shelves
4. Latest 5 stars - Changes by Jim Butcher, but you shouldn't start with book 12. Unfortunately, I don't think you should start with book 1 (Storm Front) either as it isn't the best representative. I would actually start with book 3, Grave Peril
5. Curl up with on a stormy night - Jayne Ann Krentz books are like a warm, fuzzy blanket to me. Since you don't seem to be into contemporary romance, here's a couple choices that are paranormal. Shield's Lady, Sweet Starfire or Gift of Gold.
6. Pick-me-up or laugh - Jennifer Crusie is my go to for humor. Bet Me is one of my faves. I also really enjoy the humor in Tanya Huff's Summon the Keeper.

Grave Peril (The Dresden Files, #3) by Jim Butcher Shield's Lady by Jayne Ann Krentz Sweet Starfire by Jayne Ann Krentz Gift of Gold (Gift, #1) by Jayne Ann Krentz Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie Summon the Keeper (Keeper's Chronicles, #1) by Tanya Huff

Buddy Reads
7. Next book I want to read from me TBR - there's a few here that you might like. Midnight's Daughter by Karen Chance, Ironside by Holly Black (which is on your TBR) or Single White Vampire by Lynsay Sands (a re-read for me for AOM)
8. Book on your TBR I want to add to mine - The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff looks interesting as long as I can pick it up from the library, I'm game.

Midnight's Daughter (Dorina Basarab, #1) by Karen Chance Ironside (The Modern Faerie Tales, #3) by Holly Black Single White Vampire (Argeneau, #3) by Lynsay Sands The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff

Well, I hope you found something you liked :)

You have a lot of interesting books on your shelves. Some that I looked at and went "Ohh I remember reading that" and realized I need to add to mine. :) I hope you find something in my picks, if not let me know and I can revisit for you. ;)

From Their TBR Shelves
1 - Intrigued A Certain Slant of Light I like the premise of this book. I wonder how I'd feel if I was a ghost. Who would I haunt?
2 - Laugh I have an odd sense of humor...
A. Playing with Fire When I read this one I could have sworn the blurb said Now suddenly I can shoot fireballs, chill your drink, or blow-job your hair at fifty paces with a blink of my eye! I had to laugh out loud when I realized my mistake
B. Three Dog Knight (The Cavendish Chronicles) I saw the cover and "One is the loneliest number" started running through my head.
3 - Envy Deeply, Desperately I want to read this, but haven't read the first one yet.

From Your Read Shelves
4 - 5 Stars Laid Bare The beginning to a HOT Series!
5 - Stormy Night Night Pleasures Sherrilyn Kenyon is a fantastic writer. This is a GREAT beginning to a GREAT Series!
6 - Make me Laugh
A. A Hunger Like No Other Nyx is Hilarious! I laugh out loud every scene she's in.
B. Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye Abby Cooper is a hoot! She makes me laugh and then makes me think.

Buddy Reads

I'm doing good with BDB. Partly planned but mostly because I had no time to go back to it. For the Psy-Changelings, I remember it was like, ok, one more book and then I'm done for now. And then suddenly I was at the last book. 0_O. The Chicagoland Vamps is the one by Chloe Niell, right? I was about to pick it up this month but then heard about some very unexpected twist (or disaster). Now I've put it off until the series is at its last book. And speaking of Mercy Thompson, I'm still waiting for the next installment of Alpha and Omega.

Hi Sue!
Thank you for your quick picks *laugh* They were very good :)
I was very tempted to read Hard Bitten this month but I saw a very painful spoiler that made me change my mind and so I decided to wait for Drink Deep.
I've already read Touch the Dark but I didn't liked the relationship between Cassandra and Mircea , he seemed a very ambivalent character and so I didn't continue the series.Maybe it gets better in the future , I don't know...

Kiss of Snow is my most awaited release this year and the second I get it, I will start reading it , I am too obsessed to Buddy-read it .
I think I'm going with You Slay Me since you said it's an amusing read.

I have a similar rule, Dee but mostly because there are few series that I can read back to back. The Psy-Changeling was one of them, though!

Emily May (emily-may) For Kate

Hope you will enjoy some of these!

1. Intriguing book: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo This book has been on my own TBR ever since seeing the film and being completely blown away. It's quite shocking and not the nicest read, but I've always been 'intrigued' by it.

2. Makes Me Laugh: Size 12 Is Not Fat Meg Cabot books never fail to make me laugh and there also a bit of an addiction - I'm not sure if you've read any of her other books but I find you always want to go out looking for more.

3. Makes Me Envious: Bloodfever I see you already read Darkfever and gave it 3 stars. Well, trust me, this series gets better and better. I can honestly say it's my favourite EVER and I'm envious that you have this opportunity to experience it all for the first time.

4. My 5 Star Read: Succubus Blues From your shelves you seem to like a lot of chick-lit urban fantasy type books, well this is one of the best of those in my opinion. Mead is a great writer and this is such a fun and sexy book.

5. Stormy Night Read: Outlander This is a really really fantastic series that I can't recommend more. Try not to be put off by the enormous size of the books, they're worth every minute! Great for a stormy night when you've got plenty of time to indulge in this door-stopper.

6. Pick-Me-Up Read: The Boyfriend List: 15 Guys, 11 Shrink Appointments, 4 Ceramic Frogs and Me, Ruby Oliver Very, very funny chick-lit book.

7. Next Book from my TBR: A Hunger Like No Other Everyone I know sings Kresley Cole's praises all the time and I keep meaning to finally give into this one.

8. Book from your TBR that I'm Adding: Dirty I've read some other books by Megan Hart and loved them but I hadn't heard of this one before browsing your shelves - I'm definitely going to check it out.

Hello KarenF, these are my recs for you. (:

--> From Their TBR Shelves
Woo, that was actually really fun. I might have to go through your pile again and add some books to mine. But it was tricky though to pick the books, I wasn't familiar with 90% of them so it took me awhile to pick three, since I had to go through the covers and the storylines, but here they are:
1.) First Grave on the Right by D. Jones -- to be honest, I had this one on my TBR pile also and the title and the cover both make me want to read the book. It reminds me of the TV show The Ghost Whisperer and seems like an interesting read.
2.) How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf by M. Harper -- another one who has found her place on my TBR pile awhile ago. So the title is kind of funny, it makes me feel that this will be a book with witty conversations and that one can have a good laugh while reading it.
3.) The Corset Diaries by K. MacAlister -- that corset part of the title catched my glance. I added the book to my pile now, hopefully I can find it somewhere in my country (we don't have much book diversity in the bookstores). I'm surprised I haven't come across it before, so there it is. (: I want it!

--> From Your Read Shelves
Oh-oh, I'm guessing you won't be liking these recs, but I had to be honest and so I chose the books that go with the instructions. I wasn't so much into paranormal themed books before so this will consist mostly of what I read before. I still love all three books, they're different from what you usually read, but as they say - it doesn't hurt to try sth different from time to time.
4.) Memoirs of a Geisha by A. Golden -- I don't rate many books with 5 stars, because I'm picky, so I read this one quite awhile ago (in February if I'm correct). I like it's historical background and how it portrays a life of a Geisha, who is often mistaken for a - i'll be blunt - whore. It's a romance story and it makes you feel you can do anything, be anyone.
5.) The Reader by B. Schlink -- I think I'm always picking this book for the recs but oh well, I love the writing here. It's simple, in short sentences it says it all. I always start reading at the random sections of the book, but I guess I would pick this one to spend the night with, and I could finish it in few hours, so hurray.
6.) Veronika Decides to Die by P. Coelho -- First of all, this is not a book that makes me laugh, it's a book that has a pick-me-up effect on me. I read it ... huh, a few years back and it's one of my absolute favorites. It's one of those books that leave you speechless and it's harsh and it's blunt and so much more.

--> Buddy Reads
Contact me if you're in. ^^
7.) Marked by P.C. Cast -- I picked this one at the library this week and after I finish the one I'm reading ATM, I'll start with this series to see why people like it - it became quite a hit at my country recently. So, join me if you want. (:
8.) Let the Great World Spin by C. McCann -- this was more of a random pick, because I had to find a book I can get in my library, as I said, it's all pretty plain here. But it seems like a nice read, so there you go.

Have a nice day! ^^

@Vi, I have it I just haven't gotten around to starting it but I probably will very soon especially since the new one is coming out and somehow I start a really good series right when a new one comes out! That happened with KMM's Fever series. I finished Dreamfever the day Shadowfever came out. I'm really excited for Magic Slays, I'm debating whether I want to wait to receive it in the mail (I pre-ordered it but Monday is a holiday) or to just go buy it on Tuesday and cancel my pre-order.

@Dee, Hmm... I'll probably add it to my list for June and see if I can get to it. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get it as a rec. :D I can probably squeeze it in somewhere. Then I'll have to figure out how to get a hold of the rest in the series.

I am waiting to read Hard Bitten until I have Drink Deep (which is on pre-order) because I hate cliffhangers and I've heard Hard Bitten has a huge twist!! I don't know if I'm ready for something like that but my curiosity might get the best of me.
