MEN!

He got his new PC in today, it wasn't working properly so he got himself into a right strop, shouting and swearing all the time.
As if that wasn't bad enough, he then comes down to dinner, sticks a forkfull in his mouth and immediately spits it out all over the table... "it's hot."
You know damn well that it's just come out of the oven, what do you expect? Do you have to act like you were brought up in a cave?!

Grr.

Char (CharmaineElaine) Grrrrr! My computer is having an identity crisis and my brother is sulking like a 3 year old, it's a really bad week for me and I am pretty annoyed right now!=/

message 7: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Okay another rant. I hate it when drivers turn a corner really quickly without looking were they're going and then blame the pedestrian! Why? You're the one trying to be Lewis Hamilton! I just want to go home and feed my cat.

Also, whilst I'm at it with drivers. You turn your indicator off AFTER you've turned the corner, in fact I think most cars do it themselves AFTER you've turned the corner. Seriously, are you trying to kill someone? Go back to driving school you idiots!

message 8: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Okay, I need to vent... again. I like this topic lol.

Why is the golf still on? It was meant to finish 8 minutes ago. I want to watch Richard Hammond. Okay so I wasn't complaining when the F1 overran but that only held up Eastenders and I hate that show! I swear, I could scream.

Golf is a stupid, pointless sport like cricket and football!

Char (CharmaineElaine) Haha lol. I've had that sometimes.

message 11: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) New rant. Why did my computer get a virus? I didn't do anything but now I've fixed it because I'm a genius and you hackers were stupid to try to virusise a computer that's just been to the shop and now I feel intelligent because I fixed it and I have no idea what I'm writing. I'm too angry to type straight.

Also I still feel like I'm doing everything. Roleplay is stupid and pointless and it annoys me because of its stupidness and its pointlessness. Grrrrr!!!!!!

I'm feeling rather calm today but I've still managed to get sunburnt. -_- I had factor 30 protection on too! My skin is far too fair to be comfortable to live in when it's very sunny out.

message 13: by Rea, Ghost (new)

Rea | 1992 comments Mod
Damn wind! I want to sit outside and read my book but the wind is blowing some powerful gusts so I can't have the sunscreen out. I managed to sit in the shade up till now but now the sun has encroached on my bit of patio. And it's burning my poor skin! :(

I'm gonna go and sit in front of the shed. At least there's shade there.

Take that, sun! You will not defeat me!!

Fecking plant has taken over the garden! The bf's mum planted it next to the pond because she thought it'd look nice but you couldn't see the pond for the plant being absolutely everywhere on that side of the garden. I finally snapped and ripped it all out of the pond, having to put my hand in pondwater in the process and now my hand stinks of pond no matter how many times I wash it. :(

On another note, after a week of bad weather it's been hot here today too.

message 27: by Jeshu (new)

Jeshu (jeshusauria) Well, it's very cold here, so at least I can't complain about the heat :)

Looks my university will go on strike again :/

message 28: by Robert (new)

Robert Clear (robertclear) | 7 comments Sounds like it's not just English universities that are disgruntled then! ;)

message 29: by Jeshu (new)

Jeshu (jeshusauria) Apparently. Most of chilean public universities are on strike anyway.

Ok, a few rants.

What is up with the weather?! It's cloudy but hot this morning, then blue skies and very hot this afternoon, now it's still hot and thundering but it won't rain properly so all the humidity's sticking around. I've spent my day melting like an ice cream out of the freezer! :(

I HATE hanging underwear and socks up to dry. It takes so damn long. I avoid washing them until I have a wash only of them, so I bring it upon myself, but still! Horrible clothing!

Is it too much to ask for for one full night of sleep? I feel like I haven't had one in about six months!

Also, the boyfriend keeps going outside to smoke but he cba to take his keys with him so then he rings the doorbell to get back in and I have to stop whatever I'm doing, go all the way downstairs and let him in. Can't he just take his keys with him?

Your having a bad time

I had trouble sleeping last night, coz of the heat

message 33: by Rea, Ghost (new)

Rea | 1992 comments Mod
Last night it was a mix of heat, the bf getting back in at about 4am (he had to work last night for some reason) then he had a sex dream around 5am, which translated into him mauling me and of course that woke me up too.

Usually I get woken up because the bf has some lung problem that won't go away and his doc's assistant won't allow him to make an appointment to see his doc. It started in December, it comes and goes but only at night and I sleep with him every night but I haven't had any problems so obviously it's something that's only affecting him. It is starting to piss me off. I just want a full night of sleep!!!

I do... during the day. :p It's a sign of how bad it's getting if I nap because I almost never nap. But then I wake up with this horrible crick in my neck and I get moody because I'm in pain and I haven't slept properly.

message 40: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) Now you may have noticed my change of username, there's a rant to accompany it, I just needed time to accustom myself to it.

I got a letter on Friday, now this letter was from the Probation Office and it told me enough to have me in a panic for days! To top it all off when I ring the number the woman isn't there! I'm sorry but it was 9:20 am surely the work day begins at 9? I felt like a blooming criminal ringing probation! (I'm not a criminal by the way.) Now I have to wait until Wednesday to find out if my worst nightmare is about to come true. If it is I'm not taking it lying down. He's had enough of my life, he's not having the rest!

message 41: by Lara Ruark (new)

Lara Ruark okay - here's my frustration:

i was waiting to get to anchorage to download wolfsangel on my kindle...cause in the bush, i have to download over my computer and i knew i was coming to the big city....

and here i sit.....and wolfsangel is NOT available!

so i ordered the hardcopy, but it's being sent to the alaskan tundra (the bush) and may take a month.....drat...drat...double drat!

okay, i'm done!!! at least i read lovely bones!

Don't worry Lara, I'm not able to get hold of it until next month either. We'll read it late together! =)

message 43: by Char (new)

Char (CharmaineElaine) So the boiler man came today. It was the same one who told me there was NOTHING wrong with it last week. He was rude to us then, he practically told us that we were making it up. I THINK I KNOW WHEN I'M WASHING MY HAIR IN COLD WATER!!!

So anyway it turns out there IS something wrong with the boiler. I TOLD HIM SO! When the Housing Association send the form asking how the work went we're going to complain. His treatment of us was unacceptable. It could have been fixed by now. NOT amused.

whew! well, then at least we get to read it!

sorry about the water issue......i lose hot water (or just water & power) out here in the bush a lot...it's never fun and it takes it out of you....add rudeness and that's just unacceptable. you should absolutely complain!

Yes we will. I'm reading June's Group Read right now. I'm so behind.

I'd hate losing all water, although we've had it a couple of times. All power is even worse though. I can see how it would. I need the simple things like those. I know it is. I was so angry at the way he treated us, it's not acceptable and the Association need to know who they're employing.

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

I hate it when my boyfriend tries to use PMT as an excuse to ignore it when I have a grievance with him. And it doesn't matter how much I say: "The reason I am annoyed that you, yet again, have dumped your clothes all around the laundry basket, rather than actually in it, is because you're being a slob, not because I am due on my period." he still blames it on PMT - ahhh!!!

message 47: by Rea, Ghost (new)

Rea | 1992 comments Mod
Oooh Emma, I get that too! My bathroom is really well organised: towels go in one basket, colours go in another and whites go in a third. Where does the boyfriend put his clothes? On the floor.

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

Mine will literally use any horizontal surface that isn't the laundry basket - and then wonders why he has no clean underwear!!

message 49: by Rea, Ghost (new)

Rea | 1992 comments Mod
I keep on top of his underwear as he can only go for about a week and a half before he's run out. For me it's socks (and occasionally t-shirts). And where are they? Down his side of the bed where I don't go searching for clothes!

message 50: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh - we really are suffering from the same problem or should I say our boyfriend's are. There should be a course you can send them on before you move in together so they can be appropriately 'house-trained'.
