Ballet Shoes
question
"If other girls had to be one of us, which one would they choose to be?"
I'd definitely be Petrova. She's my favorite character in the whole book!
Posy... I'd love to be a professional dancer. But Pauline is a close second with acting.
Petrova- she's selfless and does things she hates to please other people. Also I can identify with feeling stupid but having geniuses for siblings.
Posy - I used to be like her in music until the drudge of life conspired to make me more self-effacing.
It's not really possible to be like Posy as an adult, unless you get ahead early on. Even then, some of the newspapers would soon find a chink in your armour.

I would adore to be Posy...so confident and outspoken...a beautiful dancer. She stands out. An inspiration to those who would like to be ballerinas (me)!
I think I would be a Petrova, or at least I like to think I would be.
I would rather be Petrova and have a practical, useful skill like flying. Pauline and Posy both have natural talents (though of course, it takes hard work to develop them) and I prefer being good at something I've had to strive for.
pauline, because i can identify with her the most - i also have two younger siblings and hence a lot of responsibility, and i also love shakespeare and the theatre. her arrogant phase reminds me of my own youth.
i like posy aswell, because she kicks ass and fights for what she wants.

A combination of Pauline and Petrova. Pauline's an actress, and I love acting in plays, and Petrova's never self-centered and automobiles are pretty interesting;)
For the sole fact that she is an incredible ballet dancer, Posy, as that is what I would love to do!
But Petrova is such a unique character, so she would be my pick because of her attitude towards life.

I totally must re-read it, 'cause if I do this, maybe I'll pick another girl, but I gave my threadbare and beloved copy to another little girl, which, unfortulately, don't like reading, but anyway - I hoped she'll ''feel'' it.
I used to like Pauline - my namesake - reasonable, used to be selfish sometimes, but capable to sacrifice. And the Shakespeare thing :)

I always wanted to be Petrova too. Though I admired Pauline greatly and the way she supported everyone.
Pauline or Petrova but i loved the book!
Great!!!
Borrowing the film off my friend this week, cant wait

I think that maybe I like Petrova best, but in real life I'd be a Pauline.
I would like to be Petrova as she's doesn't just care about herself too much and is not picked on too much - although she isn't into much of the arts
(However, I still love EMMA WATSON!!!)

I love Posy, so sweet---in the book, so picked on!!!
I would probably most likely like to be Pauline---i LOVE shakespeare......

Paulina and Petrova mix. I like Shakespeare and I'm not a fan of musical stuff. Paulina also cause Emma Watson plays her in the movie and I LUV EMMA WATSON!!!!! :P
Definitely Petrova, too. She just seemed more...down to earth and "be-able", if that makes sense ;)
