Hi everyone!

I'm Mahmoud Tarek, author of City of Immortality — a fantasy novel about a mysterious city cursed with eternal life. I'm really glad to be here!

"Immortality is not a gift… it’s a shackle that glitters like glory, yet eats away at the heart."

City of Immortality cover

Looking forward to chatting with fellow book lovers and discovering some amazing reads together.

Feel free to check out the book and share your thoughts — I'd love to hear from you!

The plan is to only read the first of the three (listen, reallly) and then zigzag to something lighter sci-fi/fantasy wise. On Kindle slowly going through British Goblins: Welsh Folk-lore, Fairy Mythology, Legends and Traditions: Unveiling the Mystical World of Welsh Goblins and Fairies -having a bit of fun figuring how to read the names; Google is now not the best; its AI suggested Ellyllon (type of elves) is read as el-lil-on and it is apparently more like athathlon. Developing mad desire to visit Wales, reallly. And not to visit for like a couplle days - more like, for a year or some time anyway.
