5.7. Don't Stop Reading. Since school's out, it's a great time to read a good book. Read a book from The Ultimate Teen Reading List
(NOTE: There are many books on this list that would not be considered YA books or books specifically geared to teens)

If a boxed set such as The Chronicles of Narnia is on the list, you may read any one book from the set (assuming it meets the normal page requirements).

At a quick glance, both The Chronicles of Narnia Boxed Set and The Lord of the Rings are listed as a boxed set or single volume edition. Would it be acceptable to read one book of the series for this task? It seems that most other series (The Inheritance Cycle, The Hunger Games, e.g.) are separated into separate books.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Volume 1 is on the list. Would The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya be an acceptable version?

The first is a manga, the second the original novel.

I thought it was the same book until I got it home from the library.

My next choice is Corelli's Mandolin which my library has as Captain Corelli's Mandolin. Does this count?
