Zauberlehrling! (zauberlehrling) | 4 comments Star Trek Classic published a series of books which have a different counting in the English and the German series. For example, "Star Trek The Wrath of Khan" is in the English serien No.7 but No.1 in the German one.

Is there any possibility to change the series with the language? I only can add a new series but it would be very convenient to have the opportunity to either change the series or even remove and also to have different series for different languages even if the German edition of a book what already listed with an English series.

I hope that was understandable, if not please ask I try to explain better.

Zauberlehrling! (zauberlehrling) | 4 comments Would it be better to seperate the German Releases of a book to seperate from the English one, so series for the German books don't get messed with English?

Gerd | 1050 comments The only solution would be to add a new series for the German books.
But I'm not sure how important that would be, there's not much of a chronology to the books.

There's a point to have different language editions of a book combined, so, no, separating them wouldn't make sense.

No, please don't do that. You can add the German series as a second series for the books, if you like.

No, please don..."

Thanks, I added the new Series to some german editions, but it always gives me a english version of the book. I don't know if that is okay.

Can I search for a group to see if and what books are listed in it?

The german books have a counting, but it is sometimes different to the english counting. See "The Wrath of Khan" what is #1 in the German and #7 in the English.

Thanks for the help.

You can click on the series link(s) in the novel description.

Yes, sure, but the novels are mostly standalone, so it isn't of much importance where you start.

Deborah | 390 comments Adding a series from a book page creates a new series page with just that book. To add another book to the same series, you have to go to the series page and click on + add books.

Agnes M (unchartedwaters) | 10 comments I'm currently having a similar issue with another series though this one is already listed in two other languages and the formatting is different.

Wondering if you can recommend something: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/5...
