This will be my last post of this challenge. I would like to congratulate all the finishers and all those who met their own personal targets.
Thank you to the moderators who have been doing such an amazing job. I have been very impressed by how efficiently they have been posting the tasks for the next challenge. It looks like being a terrific challenge and I am a little bit sorry that I will miss most of it while I am away overseas.

Choose an author you read and hopefully enjoyed (but that’s not a requirement) from last year’s summer challenge or if you didn’t participate last year choose one of your favorite authors. Enter the author into the Literature Map.
I did not participate in last year's summer challenge, so I chose Claire Tomalin as one of my favorite writers.
For the first book:
Option 2 – If you are feeling a little adventurous but don’t want to take it too far – choose an author that appears on the literature map that you have read before and read a new to you book from that author.
I chose Julian Barnes.
The Sense of an Ending
For the second book:
Option B – If you liked the first book but don’t want to read another book by the same author – Go back to the beginning and enter the author of the first book you read into the literature map and select from Options 1, 2 or 3.
I chose option 2 again, and chose Iris Murdoch.

My birthday is 3rd June, so I read:
Third Girl by Agatha Christie
20.9 - Summerthing Better
Stress-Proof Your Life (52 Brilliant Ideas): Smart Ways to Relax and Re-energize by Elisabeth Wilson
There never seems to be enough time to do all the things I want to do as well as all the things I ought to do. I tried one of the suggestions in this book and got through all my housework and laundry like a whirlwind! It really helped me to overcome procrastination! Then I had all the rest of the week to do what I wanted without feeling guilty.
