Marja McGraw (marja1) | 569 comments This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I wasn't sure where else to do it. I just updated my webpage at www.marjamcgraw.com . The only reason I mention this is because if any of you have been in the military (Navy in particular), or are interested in Naval history, you might enjoy the Photo Page. Think the Yangzte River Patrol, circa 1904.

Barbara Rogan (barbararogan) | 33 comments Did you guys hear about the vicious attack on a West Coast literary agent by a demented, rejected writer? Not a great career move. Most writers actually want to get published, but apparently there's a neglected minority who don't. Today I posted some advice for those misunderstood geniuses: Top Ten Ways to Get Rejected By Your Dream Agent. http://barbararogan.com/blog/?p=221

Thanks, Rick. It is an amazing story. I can't believe it myself. For a while I just sat on it. I thought it could be some kind of scam. I kept checking his information with my uncle, and he kept confirming it.

Robert Bonville | 2 comments As a result of the contacts and resources I collected during the extensive research I conducted for my book, I stay in touch with a number of fine people, mostly people of Polynesian extraction. I'm finding that because they wish to preserve their culture, they are finding it very difficult to pass it on to their youth ages 11-adulthood. Is this just a situation that exists or do people of other cultures also experience this issue. I personally believe that once a child reaches 11, it may be too late.

Joseph Badal (badalbooksgmailcom) | 37 comments I thought you might find the following blurb about my latest thriller, SHELL GAME, of interest:
Yes, He Can!
Once again Joseph Badal has proved himself a thriller author above the ordinary cut. Some may think it impossible to write a convincing (and exciting) novel about the recent bank implosions and real estate market collapse, but Joe has both the chops in investment banking and the narrative skill of a polished suspense author to pull off this difficult feat. Just as he excels at international intrigue, readers owe it to themselves to see how effectively and realistically he portrays greed, intrigue, and violence within the United States and inside institutions we’ve long trusted.
Few if any other authors would have the platform to attempt a novel like this. It’s a high dive for anyone to try, but Joe Badal scores a “10” with this judge.
--Rob Kresge, author of the Warbonnet historical mysteries and former CIA senior analyst
