J.L. Taylor Please see Bullheaded Black Remembers Alexander on goodreads, and check out the blog by the author to answer questions you may have about the book, its themes related to the Arab Spring, and it's basic bigraphy of Alexander the Great. This is an easy-read for anyone who wants a good introduction to some important world history, but the book was written especially for preteens who would like to basically understand Alexander the Great's achievements in the Middle East.

I do indeed check out our members' blogs- have joined many as well- although - as I do not use Facebook- those that I can follow on Twitter are far more easier to sign on to!
I urge all to take a look at the blogs listed here- there is much superb writing, comment and opinion to be savored!

Leighton Gage | 10 comments MURDER IS EVERYWHERE is a blog I maintain with six other writers of "international" crime fiction. (Cara Black, Yrsa Sigurdardottir, Tim Hallinan, Dan Waddell, Michael Stanley and Jeffrey Siger).
We generally don't write about our books, or the craft of writing, but rather about events of cultural, historical or human interest that occur in the countries in which we set our stories. And, sometimes, Tim rants. Yrsa's posts, in contrast with her novels, tend to be quite funny.
