Also, thought I'd mention a giveaway a huge group of us YA authors are doing on our collective blog: The Indelibles http://indeliblewriters.blogspot.com/
We are hosting a blog hop with 25 book giveaways and a grand prize of a Kindle Fire!

Just reviewed and established a giveaway for "Hard Knocks" whose wisecracking Boston, P.I. reminded me of Robert Parker's wonderful character, Spencer.

loved Parker- hard to believe he is gone!
Howie Carr certainly knows Boston- no doubt about that- have seen him on TV many times

There is a new blog out there every 1.4 seconds, I'm told. Millions of blogs. Clouds of blogs. Everyone wants to promote their book(s)including me, but I think the real fun is in having a potentially huge forum for one's thoughts. Sometimes I write about writing, I hope in a different way. I am resisting the urge to political comment, but I admit it's difficult. I prefer blogs with something to say and a touch of humor.
Good blogs are hard to find. One person's good is another's blah.

Absolutey wonderful site Stephanie!!! Thanks for posting!!!

I recently did a post myself (the first of many) that focuses on the challenges of law enforcement in periods past (focused mostly on England since I write historical mysteries).
Come on by and check it out!

The address is: http://nickywellsklippert.wordpress.com/ Feel free to pop in, say hello, leave me a comment. You can even subscribe if you wish!

We don't write about our books, or the craft of writing, but rather about items of historical, social or human interest that take place in the countries in which we set our stories.
And sometimes Yrsa Sigurdardottir makes us laugh.
And sometime Tim Hallinan rants.
Other members are Cara Black, Jeffrey Siger, Stan Trollip, Michael Sears (They write jointly under the name Michael Stanley) and Dan Waddell.
And there's a new post every day of the week.

I've also just started a Crime Writer spotlight with guest crime writer bloggers. Hope you'll drop by sometime!

Joyce, Thank you for your comments. One always wonders if a blog is doing any good or not, so I appreciate your input more than you can imagine. And, of course, I hope you enjoy a McGraw book. :)

I write mysteries solved by Jillian Hillcrest, PR Executive from a Silicon Valley biotech company. The first novel is ON MESSAGE.

Before You Take That Pill
I have a book of the same name, but I am currently pimping my latest book which is 99 cents on Kindle
The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg by Doug Bremner

Please, feel free to check it out at http://keithlatch.com
And I sincerely hope you find something you enjoy.

It started out when I knew nothing of putting up anything other than text online. :) Since then, I've started working with Wired.com's GeekDad blog and have learned a lot more about manipulating Wordpress.

Let me know what you think. Meanwhile, working on the next book in the PROJECT series.
