Would love to hear from you!

Thanks!

I love it!

I think, if memory serves, I own all of the books up to the current pb release.

I didn't make it past the first book; I kind of loathed it, but it was quite a while so I can't give detail as to why. I haven't heard much good about it in the other fantasy group I'm part of.

Cindy (eclecticfirefly) (eclecticfirefly) | 1237 comments I loved them! I haven't read the last one yet, but I do have it TBR. I was given 3 or 4 of them from the middle of the series. Read about 40 pages of the first one I had. Stopped. Went out and got the others ASAP. I read them pretty much straight thru.

Rosina | 1714 comments I read the first one in January this year and love it. I have all the books and will keep on with the series.

Literary Ames (amyorames) | 1854 comments I saw the TV series Legend of the Seeker and then read Wizard's First Rule. It wasn't great. Good ideas, poor execution, IMO.

Here's my review which details my thoughts on it:

Vivian (_vivian) | 1934 comments I watched the first season of the show which was fun. Tried reading the book but didn't make it through.

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Hubby's read the books and says yes re: books. We both watched the TV series while it lasted. I enjoyed that, but it was canceled.

Kelleigh (goodreadscomsunshine2047) | 46 comments OK... So I started the first book, and I am hooked! It's really good so far. I would much rather be home reading than at work! blah!

:)

So for those of you who haven't read this series, you should give it a try! Book 1 is great so far!

Lis | 4037 comments I got WIZARD'S FIRST RULE on audio and just finished it today... It's a very long book and they seemed to get a little sidetracked on their journey that drags a little longer than I liked... But if you can hang in there, you should be pleased. I'm pretty sure I'll add the next one to my "must acquire" list.

Wizard's First Rule Kindle for $2.99. I don't know how long the price is good for.

Kelleigh (goodreadscomsunshine2047) | 46 comments Thank you Zaanodes, but I already got the first book...

I wonder why the second book is so expensive on Kindle, did you see that?

No, I didn't check. I have all of them in print. I thought if someone were interested in trying the series, that is a good price for a look-see.
