Gef (wagthefox) Hey, all. Just happened upon this Goodreads group and decided to join, since I love crime novels, but am not that knowledgeable about where to find the best reads. So, I'm hoping this will prove to be a great resource.

I've had the chance to read a couple of fantastic crime novels so far this year with Joe Lansdale's Devil Red and Duane Swierczynski's Fun and Games.

Lately, I've been hankering a good heist novel, so I'm open to suggestions.

Hi Gef, welcome to the group. I'm sure you'll find millions of things to read. Our members always have the best suggestions. We're voting for this month's group reads, so why don't you stop by the "polls" and take a look. I find most of my TBRs in the nomination threads.

Welcome Gef, I can't come up with a good heist novel at the moment but I am sure someone else will have a great recommendation for one and a whole bunch more.

Gef (wagthefox) Thanks for the warm welcome.

Ah, a Westlake novel. I read The Ax a couple years ago and thought it was amazing. I'll have to look out for this one, too.
