Awakened question

So ready! Every time one comes out I'm thinking "Surely, this is the last one" only to get to the end and realize that it's not.

i am pretty sick of the whole neferet situation dragging on.. and so much has happened in the series except that it seems like happen all in like 3-4 months.. life seems really rushed there & i think the series would be better if more things were explored not just neferet and kalona problems every week. i know other problems happened, but like i said, its all so close together. but i am interested to see how it ends!

I like the series but I feel like after the first 4 they seemed to just rush the making of all the rest of the books and dragging out each release date. You buy them because you think they are going to be good and you want to see what happens, but in reality they seem to lack the passion and drive the author wrote the first books with. I dont know if anyone else agrees but thats how I feel. Its still a good series but I think its being drawn out now for the name and the money its making rather than putting time and effort into evolving the story into something amazing, which is what everyone is holding there breath for .

I am very ready for it to end. I have not read any other PC Cast novels so maybe someone can answer this questions. in the HON series there are comments in parenthesis randomly throughout the book. Is this normal for PC Cast to have these little commentaries?

I want HON to end. I don't have patience to read books where heroines are unable to pick one guy for good and the villain still alive.

HON is starting to bore me also i cant wait for the last book then p.c cast can start on a new series

I think most people who posted agree. This series started out strong but it is just dragging on and on. I, like most, will finish the series just to see how it turns out but with a word of advice to P.C. Cast. A great series leaves you wanting for more..not just wanting it over.

Definitely ready for the series to end its just too many book now. I just read Destined don't get me wrong it was really good but I wanna get to the end of the serie im anxious to know what happenes with Neferet and I just want Zoey and Stark to be together.

I love the series but for me they started getting really boring after the third until AWAKENED was released... Burned was the worst book of them all. I feel that all the action and interesting things were happening in the first 3 books but as the series progressed the author lost all of that. There are also a few flaws in the series... eg. Destined, she says she cant wait to watch the 4th season of true blood. Hello! How could she have watched the third or even farther back if she was hiding out in a place with no access to a tv.!

hellz yeah. This series needs to be over, i've been reading it for four years. And God forbid there be anymore love interests. seriously. One guy is enough for anybody.

The books may drag on to me, but I really enjoy reading them. I do want to know what happens in the end but not sure i want them to end just yet. their is always new problems and mysteries to be figured out. I honestly love the books! :)

I like longer series, so it probably doesn't bother me as much as everyone else that it hasn't ended yet. But I still can't wait until certain people are killed off, like idk..Neferet for exapmle!!

I loved it at the start, but i haven't even bothered reading the latest one. I don't even know the name of it actually. It's dragged on way to long, it needs to finish. I plan to finish it one day but not just yet. How many books are there going to be?

I really love this series and I am not wishing an ending, not yet anyway. I want to see Zoey save the world, so to speak. I want to see Neferet die and Kalona redemmed by Nyx. I also want a HEA for Stark/Zorey/Aurox(Heath reincarnate). They deserve it. But I don't think they a ready for all that yet.

I think this should be wrapped up and should not continue for another three books. It seems that the Casts are trying to string this out and they are struggling to find something to write about. I am losing interest in the characters, they seem to be getting weaker as each book goes on and also become more annoying. Unfortunately I have fallen into the trap of hoping that something is going to happen and the pace will pick up only to be disappointed but can't not read because you just never know the next book might get it right. Very frustrating and disappointing.

I LOVE this series, LOVE IT. The only problem I have is they could make the books last longer than a few days. Seriously Destined went through 5 days max. They could make them longer which would make the series shorter. They are making them into movies though, combining the books they are anyway.

Agreed!! This series started out great but it's just been dragging on now! I stopped reading it! Part of me thinks they realized every book would become a bestseller, so they decided to keep writing to make more money instead of ending the series in a good place and keeping all the books fast/exciting! I think the writing is fun and great, but I did sort of lose interest! I'm thinking about reading the Sookie Stackhouse series because I LOVE True Blood, but I've heard the same complaint, can anyone tell me if its worth it to read those books?? Thanks!

I loved this seris to begin with. I was hoping this last on was going to be it but sadly it's not. I can't stop reading them because I want to know what happens in the end. This last one has been such a slow read. I 've got three pages to go. I also feel like it's like sookie and also the anita blake series. Hopefully they'll all end soon.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. I've started checking out the books instead of buying them, because I don't want to spend the money on them. I still want to know how it ends just because I have dedicated this much time into it already.:(

I am totally ready for it to end. at this point it just seems like it is dragging on. they need to have like a final battle and get it over with. also, the last book seemed like it covered no time at all. it was like a week period. The time frame that The Cast's give their books are inconceivable. A weeks time does not allow the author room for character and plot development. End the series already!

i dont want this series to end. I love them all and they give me something to look forward to. cast team are amazing and i hope they continue to raid my mind with the absorbing story of zoey redbrid!!!

I can't wait for this darned freakin story to end. I just wanna know whats gonna happen in the end. what more could she possibly drag out of this story and stretch it out for five more books?

I love the first few books. I checked out the first few out at the library and decided I wanted them in my collection...then I got tired of the same thing over and over in every book! Nothing really changed or grabbed my attention like the first few did. Now I read them because I want to finish what I started. Hopefully the last books in the series will pick up again and give a satisfied ending for those that devoted all this time into them.

Yes! I am sooo ready for this series to end and be over with. It seems to me like this series just keeps dragging on and on after I have read destined and found out that there is going to be another one I was like they just need to tie everyhting up and be done.

I TOTALLY AGREE! This series started out decent, but I sort of stopped reading them after the fourth book because I feel like the series have started to become fillers just to get to the end, and I think that's the worst kind of books. Books that feel like the author is just trying to stretch out the series into as many books as possible is ridiculous. Sort of like the Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz (one of the books is literally about 160pages! that's just insane considering it cost just as much as the other books that were around 300pages). Oh well, I just stopped reading both series.

I am so ready for this series to end that I decided to end it myself. I stopped reading Awaken and have absolutely no desire to return to it or any of the books there after. I pretty much got to the point that I just didn't care anymore. It's been too drawn out and too many love interest!!

There are only 2 or three more books comeing out....i think i can last that long

Well, I for one am still enjoying them, and will continue buying them. But I understand your comment. One of my friends, is less than thrilled with the way they are turning out. She dosen't buy them anymore, and just borrows mine, to see what's going on. :) So, it all works out.

I read this WHOLE series Six limes in a row... And i'm still into it, and no way should HON end yet! Its way way way too soon.

well i heard there is supposed to be 12 books altogether so.... we'll see.

It had a really creative plot but it's been so drawn out. Plus they're making new novellas of supporting characters like Dragon and Lenobia so it just seems like P.C. Cast is just continuing it for the money. But I'm still a fan of Aphrodite and Darius so I'll probably keep buying them.

It´s time to put these books to and end now, feeling that it´s going on and on and on forever and it will never come to an end. It´s ptime for Z to live happily ever after :-)

yes. please take this bullshit out of my life. i don't know why i feel obligated to read these books but i feel like a 12 year old in doing so. thank god im not actually paying for them.

the first couple of books were really good but just when i finish reading a book another book comes out. this series is the longest series i have ever read and it does need to come to an end. sometimes i wonder whether these books are ever going to finish at all. but dont get me wrong i still like the books.

I think Sookie is great but it seems to drag on. HoN books seem to just blend in. Its the same problem every book: Neferet. It needs to end. We all know when it does, Zoey will come out on top so just get on with it.

i love this series alot but when i think about it, its starting to be like oh great another one... and i end up reading it for the sake of it, but i do hope that theres gonna be this epic ending so that this series can be ended on a good note instead of a waste of time.
