As trends wax and wane, horror is the one genre that appears and disappears from its own section, and I think it's mostly the fault of the publishers even more than the retailers.

True; I noticed that in their last year or so, Leisure was putting "fiction" on the spines of their novels, rather than "horror" as they used to. I'm sure they're not the only ones.

I rely on Amazon's - if you recently bought this, you may like this. And now of course, this forum.

Bookstore??? What's a Bookstore? I find most of my books online. Since I buy mostly ebooks and paperbacks, most of my store-bought books are purchased at the supermarket or super-store (Kmart, Walmart, etc.). Besides, I hear-tell these 'Bookstore'-things are becoming extinct.

I thought your post meant that you thought you were a horror fan and wanted to join a horror group but instead of us reading and discussing someone "tame" like Poe we were reading too much graphic stuff for you. I wasn't clear on what you were getting at, lol.
