Need a combine please for these different editions, please:

Mental Shrillness - ebook (published March 27, 2011, 51 pages)

Mental Shrillness - paperback (different cover, bonus content, published May 31, 2011, 74 pages)

I believe from reading that there is only supposed to be *one* master book for each unique title and then multiple editions linked to that master title, correct?

If that's correct, then there is a second ebook edition (via Smashwords ISBN) that might need to be combined as well and can be seen here:

Details show as:
isbn: 0012295469, 2940012295460 Format: ebook, 0 pages

But, corrected, should read:
isbn: 0012295469, 2940012295460 Format: ebook, 51 pages

Somehow I put 2 of my books up. On one when you click the Barnes & Noble link it won't go thru to B&N but the other book (which is the one I blieve I imported) does have an Amazon link. The book is live up on both Amazon & B&N. I have no idea what to do at this point.

Thanks for the help!! Now I just have to figure out how to let people know that they can buy it on B&N.

I'm fairly new as a librarian here, so I'm not sure how to get the B&N link working properly... maybe another has a better idea.

I should probably not try library duties right after work anyways since my mind is not all here. :-p

Well I truly thank you for stepping in and taking care of my problem so quick. I'm afraid if I 'import' my book from B&N that I'll get another duplicate of it and need it taken away. But maybe that's how it works?

If they are separate versions you will have "duplicates" then they are combined as "versions" of the "master" book.

Right now, the search/import from B&N is working sporadically. Some of the developers have actually been working on it for a couple days. So your book, which has B&N ISBN-13 2940013123687, won't import at the moment.

Hopefully the issue will be fixed shortly. (In fact, I'm going to add this as an example to the trouble ticket so the developers can look at it tomorrow.)

hi there! I'm not sure if this is the right place, but on my author page, I've had a few different versions of my books added by different readers. There are two copies of 'Journey' and three of 'Crossover'. Hi, I am wondering if someone can help me. I had noticed that a few people had posted a review of my book that wasn't showing up on my dashboard. I looked for the review and I finally figured out that it was posted to the paperback version of my book, which has the wrong author name. The author listed shows P A Lupton and it should read P.A. Lupton. An alternate author account has been created and my paperback is showing up on that account. Can you merge the two accounts into the proper author account which is P.A. Lupton.

Rivka will have to get this one, as only Goodreads staff can merge profiles of Goodreads Authors. I'm sure she'll be along. :)

If you notice this in the future, the best place to ask for these merges is the GR Author Merge Thread.
