Please feel free to discuss Shattergrave Knights here :)

**I'm working on getting the author to join in, so if you have any questions/comments for him, please feel free to put them here as well.**

Angela (wildkitties) | 28 comments I read it, I liked it. I think the formatting was off though on my ebook, it seemed to jump from one thing to another unless that's how he wrote it.

I liked the book, I will read the rest of the series There will be more right - I mean he can't leave it like that, I want to know what happens.

David Haendler Wildkitties, I'm very pleased that you enjoyed it! I did jump around occasionally to different characters and marked the jumps with a line break---is that the formatting trouble that you're referring to?

If The Shattergrave Knights sells well enough for me to make back my expenses, I'm planning on making it the first part of a trilogy. Book II is tentatively titled The Tomb in the Heavens. I'm really hoping that Shattergrave sells well, not just for the obvious reasons, but because I think the next two books will be a lot of fun to write!

Angela (wildkitties) | 28 comments Hi David, That is the formatting issue, there were no lines and it didn't flow as well. But seeing as how I've had these issues before I had assumed it was formatting and not the writing :-). I have a nook and downloaded it from smashwords.

I hope the book does very well as I would love to read the other books. And anything else that you write.

Safety_mom | 1 comments I just joined the board and found this thread! Hi David. I really enjoyed the book. Very entertaining. I told FCL on our other board that the humor reminded me a bit of Simon Green, one of my favorite authors. But, I have to say you do the action sequences much better. Easier to follow.

Jumping around characters doesn't bother me. Pretty commonplace in sci-fi/fantasy, so I'm used to it.

I do hope you can complete the trilogy. I'll definitely buy the next book(s) too.

David Haendler I'm glad that you enjoyed it, Safety_Mom! I'm actually working on a paranormal spy/conspiracy thriller, 'A Flood Last Time and Fire Tomorrow', that will be right up your alley if you like Simon Green. The plan is to start sending it out to agents this weekend.

One thing that you could do to help speed along the Shattergrave Knights sequels would be to post a review on Goodreads and/or Amazon. Favorable reader reviews are one of the best marketing aids that a new author can get!

BTW, Wildkitties, I've uploaded a new version of the book to Smashwords that puts in markers when the action switches perspective. If you're ever in the mood to read it again, download a new copy and your formatting issue should be resolved.
