((Three-person RPs are generally very hard to do. XD I'd go to the chat and see if someone wants to RP with you separately instead.))
" I still wish I can see shadows. " Rosa prodded. She was here because she was a suicidal freak.
"No you don't." Again Ruby shook her head. "They're scary, lady. Scary." She had no idea. And was quite a little crazy, the little girl thought, to actually want to see the two-dimensional companions who had made her life so miserable. They'd let up of the past few weeks in the absence of Raven, but that didn't mean Ruby found their presence any more comforting.
" OH really? Tell me about it." She said. Is a was really wanting to get information which wasn't very usual. She turned off her IPod so she did not waste the battery. She knew it would take a while.
"Nope." And Ruby sat down, promptly, with a shake of her head. "I don't wanna." It was Felix who had implied she ought to stand up for herself more--she was going to start trying now, she decided, no matter how uneasy Rosa's shadow made her feel. It couldn't (at least not in her mind) do any worse than Raven's.
Rosa studied Ruby' s face. Tough nut to crack. " Are you ok? " She said her personality switching. Bi-polar people tend to do that. Before she was irritated now she was concerned. Welcome to the crazy world of Rosa.
"Sure I'm okay." A nod, now. "I just don't wanna talk about the shadows, that's all." Despite the sudden concern of this odd girl, Ruby did not relax. For all she knew, it was some sort of trap. Until she was absolutely certain it wasn't, she herself wasn't going to become any more amiable.
Rosa pursed her lips but said nothing more. She opened her mouth to say something but shut it quickly. It was time for the little girl to start found all the talking. The wicker chair made some unnecessary noises as she shifted her position on the chair.
Ruby gave a slight raise of her eyebrows when the girl fell silent. Perhaps--and she hoped it was not a perhaps but a certainty--this girl was going to leave her alone now.
Rosa opened up her iPod again and started playing the movie again. After 10 minutes she looked up " Um, you can go now. " She was sock of people being scared of her. She rubbed her scar again as she watched Ariel's encounter with the sea witch. Her braid fell off her shoulder and she watched on expecting Ruby to leave.

Akantha was not in a very pleasant mood.
Her arm hurt like a bitch, and no amount if proper painkillers seemed able to even dull the pain. She had been unable to do anything recently, leaving her bored and cranky. She had gone over and over ideas in her head until she thought it would leak through and out her ears, and she still couldn't think of the perfect revenge plot for Raven. Instead, she had decided to rest her mind and settle down, maybe even take a nice nap in the comfortably quiet library. That's where she sat. In one of the chairs in the back of the library, away from everyone with her head leaned over the back of her chair with her dark locks falling from her head in a lush wave, and her eyes closed. She looked almost peaceful.

Petra, too, found herself seeking the solace of the library, which was usually filled with emptiness. Her hands were stuffed into her pockets, icy gaze down at her feet, and the not-so-amiable brunette found herself almost running into a bookshelf. She started, and then with a little scoff she took a seat in the chair across from Akantha. She wasn't one to talk, she wasn't one to start the conversation. She recognized the girl from what her brother had told her, but Petra didn't say anything.

[OH MY GOD THEY HAVE MET I JUST REMEMBERED!!!]
Akantha opened her eyes slowly to check out who had decided to keep her company. "Well, hello. Enjoying the view?" She gestured towards her castes arm and small cuts across her face. "I'm sure you must be envying it by now."

((Yes ma'am c; ))
Petra arched her eyebrow. "What happened to you?" she said, not a hint if concern tainting her tone, and just a slight amount of curiosity.

Akantha snorted and gave Petra a look as if to ask if she had really asked such a question. "I'm sure you can guess." Disdain rang loud and clear in her voice.

"No, no, do tell. I'd like to hear it from you." Petra smirked, a little cocky smile in place. "Dear Akantha, whatever would bring someone to do such a thing to you? Your oh so innocent."

Akantha pretended not to hear the cockiness in Petra's voice, but it was a very hard thing to do. It took nearly every ounce of willpower she had not to slap the shit out of the female Whip Twin. Instead, she raised her good hand and snorted in agreement. "Right? I would never do anyone wrong! I'm like, the perfect role model for everyone here and some asshole just randomly decided to fucking jump me just because he's jealous he's crazy and I'm not." Akantha grinned, fairly pleased with her ginormous lie that no one would ever believe. She had accomplished to say it without laughing, that was at least something to brighten her gloomy black day.

Petra laughed out loud, and her laugh was pitched like a giggle, though it certainly wasn't. "Let's see, then. Raven or Silas?"

(new)
Akantha raised an eyebrow at the new name. Silas? A new file that was dying to be read by none other than the asylum's favorite warden? Akantha couldn't wait. "I have no idea who Silas is, so Raven would be the only option." She leaned forward in her chair a little, peering at Petra curiously. "Why not throw Matthias into the mix? His file is just as I retesting as Raven's. He'd certainly be capable of such incidents." She raised up her broken arm, wincing a bit at the sudden pain.

Petra rolled her eyes. "Yeah, but I know Matty, and I know you guys have done the do. He'd be the last person to attack you." Petra smirked. "Raven, then?"

(new)
Akantha didn't exactly agree with Petra, but didn't push the issue. Doing the do, as she had put it, did not automatically save someone from attack. "Of course, Raven!" Akantha exclaimed with a scoff. "No one's been moved up to high security, and he hasn't been scolded. That's usually a sign of a Raven attack."

"Ouch," the twin murmured. "That kid's a little messed up, eh?" Petra looked the girl once over; she looked pretty terrible. "What's you do to provoke him?"

(new)
Akantha shrugged, honestly somewhat bewildered. "Honestly, I dunno. I I was acting completely like myself. Nothing he'd ever had a problem with before. He was acting so strange, though. You know how he's usually poking and prodding, trying to mess with you before you do something to piss him off and he attacks you?" She could almost guarantee the answer was yes. Anyone who didn't know about how Raven worked those he tortured was either new or lived under a rock.

Petra smirked. "I've heard stories. I generally try to avoid the kid, and I've done well thus far." Petra laughed a little, and brushed her hair over to one side. She enjoyed bantering with Akantha, she wasn't going to lie. It wasn't often that the younger twin was social, and she did enjoy encounters such as this. "Anywho, he was acting weird?"

Lucky you, Akantha thought, but figured it was better to not say out loud. Let's just hope your luck doesn't run out, sweetie.
She nodded back, her eyes widening as he remembered his animal expression, how she had felt like pry being chased and attacked by her natural predator. "Oh, yeah. Really weird and totally unlike Raven. He seemed almost... I don't really know how to explain it. Out of control, perhaps? Whatever it was, it want a peasant way to have him around."

Akantha nodded again. "Yeah. You should have heard it snap. It sounded a lot like a gun shot." Perhaps an exaggeration, but that was how it replayed in her mind. Akantha could admit, her and Petra had not had a fantastic first impression of each other, but the warden didn't mind her company at all. Rather, she was beginning to enjoy it. Perhaps she would start to hang around the twins more often.

Eyebrows were raised. "Yikes," the younger twin muttered. "That sounds awful." Petra tried to imagine (she had never broken a bone before, so she didn't know what it felt like), and she couldn't even picture it. "I know Raven's a psycho, but what did you do?"
message 983:

Akantha shrugged again, her eyes rolling up and over in agitation for Raven. "Nothing. I ran my mouth a little bit, which isn't anything out of the norm." Everyone who either knew Akantha or knew of her could testify to that. "That's nothing he hasn't dealt with before. We've bantered around a bit before, and it hasn't been that big of a deal then. I think when I made some offhand comment about his woman he freaked."

Finally, Domonic's long day of working nearly every shift all day was over. At the library, he had relaxed on the couch. It had been a very long day, especially with helping his new friend Carlos out of his attack, or whatever it had been. He stared up at the ceiling, feeling himself begin to relax finally. The ceiling was a bland, white color, much like the rest of the asylum, but the cracks in the ceiling created interesting shapes. From those shapes, he could see pictures, and from those pictures, stories. Domonic let the stories run through his mind aimlessly as he felt his eyelids grow heavy.

Cadenza was in a rather good mood; she had been for quite a few days now, maybe even a week. Could it have been that long without an attack? Cadenza was surprised, and even a little proud of herself. The petite blonde found herself amidst the shelves of books, pulling one out ( Sundays at Tiffany's) before her gaze fell upon Dominic. He looked tired and seemed tired; he was practically falling asleep. A soft smile in place, Cadenza made her way over to her nurse and curled up beside him, pressing a gentle kiss to his cheek. "Hi, hon," she said with a warm smile.

Domonic's sleeping eyelids opened wide at the kiss. It had certainly been unexpected for him. He turned his head and smiled broadly when he saw Cadenza at his side. "Now today I was told to stop falling asleep around the asylum or I'd get unpleasant surprises. That, however, was not unpleasant." He sat up off the couch, leaving room for Cadenza. He smiled up at her, and drew her in for a greeting kiss. "You look like you're in high spirits. What's up?"

Cadenza smiled and curled up against her Dominic's side. "Nothing, really. I've just been doing good is all. It makes me happy I guess." The blonde rested her head against the side of Dominic's chest and she sighed contentedly. "What about you? Why are you so tired?"

[Just kidding. I wasn't notified because of GR being stupid.]
"I worked almost every shift today," Domonic told her, stifling a yawn. He wasn't nearly as tired as he had been earlier, now that he had someone interesting to talk to. More interesting just because it was Cadenza. "And I had to help a patient today. Do you know of a Hispanic named Carlos?" He slid an arm around her back, resting his hand on the curve of her hip. He hope that she did. That was an awesome thing about Cadenza; she knew a lot and made his life as a nurse a lot easier with her inside information. It also helped him get insight on 'how the other half lived'. More accurately, it was about what sorts of things went through the patient's minds.

[xD I was like "I totally did I swear to God".]
Cadenza nodded. "Mmhmm, he's Sera's patient, right? The one who's a little bit... Err, crazy?" Cadenza laughed at her own word choice; who in this wretched place wasn't crazy? The blonde gently ran a hand through her choppy blonde locks before draping the arm across Dominic's chest. "Why, did something happen with him?"

Domonic nodded, gazing down at her body language, how she draped over him easily and lazily, with an expression that was a mixture if amusement and affection. "Yes," he admitted slowly. He usually didn't like talking about other patients, but he knew that anything that happened to the patients was 'public knowledge' among those at the asylum. "What's he in for? Why does he become so violent for no reason?" He didn't expect Cadenza to know, and he was prepared to go looking through files soon.

The little blonde shrugged. "Mmm, I think he was kidnapped or something and taken somewhere pretty awful. I don't really know; I've never talked to him." The blonde, too, wasn't the biggest fan of gossip, although if something had happened to Carlos... The nurses deserved to know these things, right? Wasn't it crucial? Cadenza thought so, at least, and she didn't try to convince herself otherwise.

"Mmm. Well, thankfully, I snapped him out it. If not, I wouldn't be here with you right now." A large grin of amusement as he nudged his patient. "Then you'd be all sad and that would just be very, very bad." He leaned his head down to kiss the top of her choppy curled mess.

Cadenza giggled, a little chirp of laughter. "Oh, and what a sad day that would be," she said dramatically with a roll of her eyes. "And besides, Sera made it out alive, I'm sure you would have." Everyone had heard of the attack on the poor nurse; if you hadn't heard, you had seen the carnage yourself. Cadenza fit into the former category, though she had seen the broken bits of Sera wandering the halls. Poor thing.

Domonic feigned hurt, a hand falling over the right of his chest, where heart was located. "You would miss me and you know it!" He teased, though his mind had wandered to Cadenza's later comment. Someone had tried to help Carlos before? His nurse, apparently and they had come out on worse circumstances? That was strange, but Domonic also felt a little bit proud of himself. He had helped the boy out of a bad mood, and he had succeeded without so much as a broken bone. Obviously, it must not have been a bad attack, but it was still an accomplishment in the nurse's eyes.

Cadenza giggled a little, almost nonchalantly ignoring her second statement, and she rolled her eyes. "Oh, you see, I don't know..." Cadenza teased with a little grin, pressing a quick little kiss to his jaw. "I would in all honesty be a mess if you got hurt," she said with a little grin. "Buuuut that's not gonna happen, so it's all okay."

"Hopefully," Domonic said with a shrug, his eyes glistening with an emotion unnamed. "Thankfully, I'm not usually associated with the more dangerous patients. Usually, I'm put with patients like you, because I guess it's my 'specialty.'" He shrugged at the word. "So it's usually low and medium security patients. So really, no worry of being hurt."
