You all railed and foamed at the mouth when vampires showed up in Blindsight, but now you're absolutely fine with (view spoiler)[fucking werewolves (hide spoiler)]?!

Granted, this never claimed to be hard sci-fi, but the appearance of monsters stretches the limits of plausibility just a tad. Who's with me? What genre classification can we unceremoniously rip away from this book just because of the appearance of one quasi-fantastical element?

Not to give to much from the later books away but (view spoiler)[ .. Katniss later theorizes they were given genetic traits like eye color and some other cosmetic changes to make them look like the other tributes but were not actually the tributes themselves (hide spoiler)]

They're not (view spoiler)[ werewolves, they're genetically altered super wolves... Teenage Mutant Ninja Wolves actually (hide spoiler)]. Totally fine.

I didn't even make it to the thing you mentioned. I gave up on this book before they were introduced. Also, did you know that spoiler tags don't work on the iPad app? I didn't either.

Jim, I just use Safari for GoodReads on my iPad and everything works as it should (I say no thank you very much to the mobile version though, yech)
