JP Capili (jpcapili) Should we be setting all ebooks and kindle editions to zero/no page? the reason is because page numbers for ebooks varies. how does it affect page/percentage updates if set to zero?

Beth (bethjustbeth) | 1568 comments No. We use the number from worldcat, if it has one listed, or from the publisher. It does vary, but usually not by much.

Please never change an ebook to 0 if there is a page number listed.

Nyssa | 172 comments Amazon usually uses "Print Length" for its page numbers; do we automatically add that number to the Kindle Editions?

Kenton Schassberger (have_books_will_read_traveler) | 1 comments Also should include the Sony ebook too, also posting which ebook readers give public library access is good too.

Sandy | 1 comments However, I've noticed that people have added page numbers to ebooks when there is no apparent basis for this. No page numbers appear in any of the recognized sources. In at least one case, a page number was added that appears to contradict the information about the book - Matchmakers 2.0. The page number was changed to 140 pages, although the description of the book indicates that it's a "Novel Nibble" which runs 70-80 pages.

I see this problem come up with books that exist only in e-book form.
