Woo hoo!!!

Our power went out Sunday afternoon. It came back on yesterday a little after 6PM. But the internet and cable were still down.

I've been going through withdraw not being able to get to my blog and to this group!! I need a fix! LOL!

We originally thought we'd be without power for a week or more...so a day or so seems like nothing.

Someone catch me up. What'd I miss? (Besides all of y'all....I really missed this group!)

Yeah for the return of the internet connection!

Our electricity was out, too. We just got internet a few minutes ago.

I got to catch up on reading, though. :)

The positive side of losing the internet.... no distractions from reading. Gotta love it!

So right Lori. Sometimes it's fun to read by candle/flashlight. Probly not so good on the eyes

Hey Spudsie - So how many books did you read while the power was out??

I thought it was only people on small islands like me who had to suffer power outtages. Here, they go through periods where one of the generators is down and then they have to load-shed. Since I live in the rainforest and not many other people do, its our area that gets cut off first. Sometimes three times a day. No power, no internet :-( So I really do sympathise with Spudsie for a whole day.
