Adele (mooturtil) | 19 comments Southern Hemisphere(SH) here. and i hoped you enjoyed yours. Did you do anything special?
through personal choice i celebrated Yule. although a few people i know celebrate/ follow the northern hemisphere(NH) calendar of sabbats.
this doesn't make much sense to me (winter solstice/Yule is supposed to be in winter, not summer!).
even though i'm a solitary, i tend to celebrate the sabbats with my best friend (who is wiccan). although this year i'm giving her the space she deserves(she gave birth to a stillborn earlier this year and still grieves-understandably) we will be having a celebration next month.

Adele (mooturtil) | 19 comments thank you. and yes the father stayed throughout everything(i didn't like him before now i at least respect him for doing that)
i agree there are no words, she was making me an kind of aunty. my friend is coping very well. but celebrating a time of rebirth and reflection...not so great.

we are having our celebrations seperately, and maybe do something next month. this year is all about healing for her. i help as much as i can, but some things have to be left to her.

anyway enough Sadness..

Did you do anything special?

Stephen Pearl (stephenp11) | 150 comments I've been all tied up and am running late on my celebrations Today I'll start doing the ritual of the Inter-calendary days (Egyptian Path) basically a five day birthday party for Osiris, Isis, Horus the elder, Nephthys and the Ass. Being solitary it’s not much of a party but frankly right now I’m pushing time limits to do this much.

Stephen Pearl (stephenp11) | 150 comments Hmm, sounds like it might add to authentisity if you're Celtic path, Cyndi. ;-) I of course am kidding, who wants to be wet and cold.

message 9: by Lavender (new)

Lavender (lavendercrystalbear) | 111 comments I am intrigued by celtic druidism. But i do not partake in many of their practices. I have studied some celtic shamanism tho.
Im more of a full sun/full moon kinda gal

Stephen Pearl (stephenp11) | 150 comments The Druids were amazing. Not my path but still quite worthy of respect.
