Peeves is like SUPER annoying, but at the end of the day you miss him. Why wasn't he in the movies? :(

A lot had to be cut for the story to be told in the limited amount of time. I'm actually not complaining about Peeves. He doesn't really impact the plot or characters much.

No, it was that they did not have enough money for Peeves, watched a documentary.

I know that there actually were scenes shot for Peeves played by (Rik Mayall) when SS/PS was being made. Apparently Columbus wasn't too happy with them, since they were cut and never released as extras. I think it's reasonable that the runtime was a concern, but the cost of the special effects makes sense too. Columbus originally said that they'd try to get the scenes out in a couple of years, but I guess they decided the cost wasn't worth it.

Does anyone know if the SS movie Ulitimate Edition has anymore information about Peeves?

Peeves should have been in there!

i dont think Peeves not being in the movies was that big of a deal, except for in the fifth and seventh movies. cause in the fifth he helped rebel against Umbridge, and there was an important part in the seventh when he was throwing some fungus stuff and it landed on invisible harry, making him get noticed. but i like being able to have my own image of him, unlike everyone that was in the movies. i just imaging them as their actors now.

that's true about the imagining the characters part, but the movie would have been funnier with Peeves, but I'm happy with the movies so all's good! :D

Peeves was ok i guess but if u want to see him as jk rowling pictures him then go on jkr's offical site and google site cheats to see an origanal drawing of him by her. My fav ghost was nick but only cause he helped harry. Personally, im creeped out by the ghosts
