anybody else watch any of the CSI's???
i cannot wait until their season premieres!!

me too!! i cannot believe how it ended last season. im dying to watch it. i freakin love warrick.

I LOVE CSI!! I prefer the Miami one... Jamie, did you see last season? When it ended I was like, "oh my god, did that really just happen?" so Im anxious to see what actually happened (because they ended it so abruptly)

I know..i could not believe they shot horatio!! and to think it was one of their own that was in on it..I cannot wait to watch it!! i don't want him to be dead..he can't be dead. however, i saw a preview for the new season and it doesn't look promising for horatio. soo who knows!

Oh no! They can't keep the show going without him! And it WAS one of their own who set it up! I always watch the reruns and laugh because Horatio always says a one-liner right before the theme song comes on. He always says something really obvious and/or lame, like "Looks like he took a bite out of crime."
haha! Every time! Next time you watch, look out for his one liners!

haha oh my gosh i know!! my boyfriend and i always crack up about his corny one liners..there have been a few that have been over the top corny. we would always be like..really Horatio??? did you really just say that??

Gil Grissom does the same thing on Las Vegas...says a one liner before the theme song. Do you think there is any similarities between characters on Las Vegas and Miami?

I've watched the Vegas one a few times, and other than the basic plot (someone dies, they solve it) I never really saw any similarities... The las vegas one is pretty dark to me while the miami one always seems brighter and more vibrant...
the miami csi is so ridiculous sometimes, though- for example, I'll never forget the time where Kali and Eric where in the wood searching for evidence and Kali was wearing stilletos and Eric was wearing white linen pants... Who actually wears that type of stuff while in the field!? Then again, I've lived in Miami long enough to know the people there can be vain enough do that.. But still- white pants and stilletos?!

haha i really do prefer the las vegas one..but my bf and i are suckers for them all..even csi ny. haha. i can't help it. i just think that the cast in general in vegas is better.

I also prefer the Las Vegas cats because they seem more serious. The Miami cast seems too perky if that makes any sense and the clothes they wear doesn't go with their field. Las Vegas has the appropriate attire.

OMG! Ok, so during the first 5 min before the theme song, all I kept saying was "no! omg! No way!" haha, but then it didnt seem right that Wolf would slip up so easily if he DID plan the murder. when i saw horatio faked his death i was relieved but it was weird because as obvious as that scenario was, it never once crossed my mind!

haha i didn't see it coming either!! i was just in a total state of confusion and panic basically. i should have seen that coming but for some reason i didn't think of it either.

exactly what I said! it seemed like such an obvious plot, but the lightbulb never went off in my brain! Oh well, i thought it was still good

that season premiere was fabulous! I can't wait until the regular CSI premiere comes on!

i am so tired of waiting for CSI:las vegas! i cannot wait until next thursday to find out if the love of my life warrick is dead!!

I don't watch the las vegas one, but they made it seem like the main character of the vegas one died too?? did it happen like how it happened in the miami csi jamie? that would be funny if it were the same outcome and warrick wasn't really dead but faked his death.. haha

dont watch it kinda boring, but i do watch greys anatomy, Lost, fringe, 24, and two and a half men

ooh warrick dying was sad..i've liked the season so far without Grissom..Laurence Fishbourne has proven to be good..i do miss Grissom..what about you all?

i think the same thing. i was so mad when Grissom left but i like the way they have incorporated Lawrence in there. i think he is a good actor and i have really liked him thus far.

i agree! I was afraid they were going to try and make him take over in Grissom's spot and that would have just been wierd if he was all of a sudden at the top..so i like how they are showing us how he learns as a CSI and starts from the bottom.

I love CSI. All three. Vegas is my favorite, for two reasons.

1: Vegas is really close to me, so I see places I know on the show (Not much because I am sure most all the three shows aren't filmed on location but some)

2: It is darker than the other two. This is great because normal shows (tv or movies) glamorize Vegas, this show doesn't. Don't get me wrong, Vegas can be fun, but it can also be scary.

I would like Miami much more if Horatio wasn't on it. It drives me insane that he can't look someone in the eye when talking to them. Oh, and Kali. UGH! I don't like her for something she has no real control over, her voice! She is constantly whining, even when she really isn't, it sounds like she is. Sorry Mini Rant!

my favorite is Vegas by far. My boyfriend and I do watch all three of them every week! Well..not normally when they are on but we always catch them On Demand when we have time. I think the cast of Vegas is just alot better/stronger and always has been. I just think it is never super corny whereas sometimes the other 2 can be corny (mostly Miami lol) and stretching it a bit. Needless to say..i LOVE all of them but Vegas is best!

I love the Vegas one but just recently got into the New York one as well. And I agree with Jamies... the Miami one has the corniest lines ever. But I watch all three on the CBS website because I'm always super busy or in bed when they come on (no life, thats me).

I love the Las Vegas CSI my fiance and I decided to start buying the DVD sets so we could watch the series from the beginning and we are on season 5 now. I just love the cast their my favorite by far.

Did anyone else watch Wednesday's CSI New York?

It made me so angry. I don't get how people can have so much hatred for another group of people. They don't know them and are perfectly happy to dispise all. UGH!

Ok...so I've been watching old episodes of the original CSI and CSI Miami lately. Makes me miss them! I finally caught up on this season's CSI Miami! I just can't into the CSI NY one for some reason, i don't know why.

I think this thread should be revived. I need some place to talk about my CSI obsession. :)

YES! I agree! The bf and I watch all three of them--Las Vegas, Miami and NY. My fave is Vegas but my bf loves Miami the best. I really am obsessed with them all!

Vegas will always be my favorite - you can't beat the original! I love Miami too, even though I feel it's overly dramatic and Horatio is the biggest cheeseball ever. I've never liked NY. I hate almost all of the main characters lol.

I watch Vegas and NY. I didn't think I'd like Sela Ward -- she was terrible on House, even though I really liked the idea of her character -- but she's been awesome. I really liked Stella, but Jo's been pretty great so far.

Esse--I have been pleased with Jo as well. I loved Stella so I was pretty upset about that but Jo has been a good addition!

I love how every building/room on CSI Miami is lit up like a nightclub. I'm watching a re-run right now and they are testifying in a court that has red/green lighting and glass walls everywhere. Is that better than the Vegas CSIs who work in complete darkness? It seems so silly.
