Amanda (munch80) | 6 comments Here is what I remember about the book.

In the book there was a pack of werewolves that was making other members be in some bad movies. A group come together with a human and killed some of the werewolves. The human now can heal the wolves just like the werewolf she killed.

I am getting frustrated because I can’t remember the name of anything else.
Please help.

Magda | 558 comments Sounds like Anita Blake.
Check out The Killing Dance (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, #6) by Laurell K. Hamilton

Rachelle (shelleyenglish) | 31 comments Maybe someone can help me too. I'm trying to find a book which begins in Seattle where a plump young woman and her friend take a cruise to Greenland (?) where they meet two vampires. One of the woman becomes a spirit leader; meaning a person who leads lost souls to the other side. Any help would be appreciated.

☻Nikki☻ (nikkic1998) My first thought was Anita Blake too. Can't remember if that was the exact storyline or not. Been a while since I read it.

The Flooze (the_flooze) | 1593 comments Rachelle, I can't find a single book that applies. Yours sounds a little like an amalgamation of two books in the Dark Ones series. A Girl's Guide to Vampires has two friends going on a vampire hunting trip to the Czech Republic. The main character is on the more voluptuous side, from what I've read. Zen and the Art of Vampires has its heroine going on a singles cruise departing from Seattle and I believe ghosts are involved.

Guys--there is a group here in GR that is set up specifically to help people find books that they can't remember the titles to. http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1... is a link to it.

Its helped me find a couple of books--hasn't helped with others, but I leave them there and keep on hoping.

Diane ~Firefly~ | 97 comments Rachelle - The Flooze got it right. You are looking for: Zen and the Art of Vampires (Dark Ones, #6) by Katie MacAlister , which is continued in Crouching Vampire, Hidden Fang (Dark Ones, #7) by Katie MacAlister

It does sound a little like Anita Blake. The one where Richard's pack kills the B@*ch who was making members of the pack participate in sadistic porn and videotaping it, and something to do with a restaurant that it was happening in the back and Reece (the Swan King) was there. They start to blend together after a while.

Could that be one of the Midnight Breed books by Lara Adrian. Dylan see ghosts, and in one of the books they travel to some mountains to search for the bad guy.

The Flooze (the_flooze) | 1593 comments I definitely agree with the Anita Blake verdict.

Raina was the abusive wife of the alpha and had her pack involved in porn movies. She attempts to create a snuff film in which she'll off Anita. She has healing abilities which transfer to Anita after her death. The OP's description covers the plot of more than one book, I believe. That aspect of the series plot starts with The Killing Dance.

Rachelle (shelleyenglish) | 31 comments Ann aka Iftcan thanks for the search site for books I'll use that in the future. Also a big THANKS to FLOOZE you got the book titles right. That's a huge load off my mind because I was wanting to reread these books. This time I'll buy them. Thanks so much to the two of you.

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 49 comments This is probably silly but I'm going to ask anyway.

I was looking to get back to a serie that I started a while ago but I totally forgot the name and author too. I originally read a novella somewhere and it was like this: the female vampire was escalating to find a boudhist temple. She believed that with some teaching she could forsworn drinking blood. She had some control over mortal mind but was sunlight sensitive. This novella was later in the series so I went back to look for the beginning. It was classic PNR but the vampires could shapeshift. The female vampire changed into a falcon and was adopted by a falcon family and evidently got caught by a human, blinded with a hood.... Pseudo-medieval setting. It was not the best series out there but it had some interesting moment.
Anyone recognize this?

That was also my first thought. Richard's old pack leader, and the movies they were making with help from the Hyenas (I think)

I think you are looking for the novella by Emma Holly called Luisa's Desire. It's in Fantasy (Includes Leopard People, #1; Midnight, #1) by Christine Feehan

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 49 comments Thanks Megan, I'm pretty sure that it is it. I totally forgot about it.
