Absolutely - generally, when I run into a wall (that's what I call writer's block because that's what it feels like) I will go back and review what I have done so far. I find that when the movie in my head is paused or there is an intermission it can be a terrific time to reword some of the stuff I've written. Hopefully taking something that wasn't written well or was just absolute crap and turn it into something that flows a bit better and has more substance and depth to it. Obviously, as it is 1:27AM and I've been trying to go to sleep for an hour now it sort of can feel the same way. Usually its like paying bills, once I can at least get started on something the part I am waiting for generally tries to catch up. I don't really use a formula per say, maybe if I did it would be easier to get through. How about you? What do you do?

Or, I just play games on my computer until I am either too tired and bored to do anything else. Pretty productive, huh?

My biggest challenge is actually being able to find quality writing time instead of just a couple of pages here and a couple of pages there. I had hoped my injury would add to my writing time but alas since I am not writing Alice in Wonderland or a Poe novel the drugs have not been helpful! Too many balls being juggled is a curse as any "mother" knows - I think that is the real reason men don't have children - LOL

Thanks Barb - I am looking forward to writing instead of marketing. Tonight got home, on crutches and found our main water line was leaking. I think anyone talking to their kids about going into medicine should rethink that direction and maybe look at training to be a plumber - their rates are the same and they don't have to go to school for 8+ years and then do residency!
