mixed age and that they've read some different books. it would be great if they had knowledge spread on a wide range of books (I know it's still the same genre, but the genre is huge).
I do not have the experience of being a mod and I would love to start from here since I happened to stumbled into these post . I may not have the experience (which will come with time ) but I love to organize stuff and checking out threads . And I especially love challenges and making one ( which usually only happen in my head ) , So that is why if I could , I would love to share my ideas . I'm not sure if I'm good enough , but if I am given a chance , I would try my hardest . I am definitely going for mixed age . Different people have different taste . So is age .
Well , that's it .
I would love to help in some way, I read between 6-8 books a week and I am a stay at home mother so I am on and off all the time. I dont think I would like to be the only mod but maybe just have a little part in it..Thanks

To be honest Goodreads is my addiction and I tend to spend a lot of time on it. The organization aspects and chatting with members always makes my day.
Why you think you'd be good at it?
I moderate “babysit” for a lot of other blogs. Which just means when the moderator(s) are busy I take over for a bit or just help out. Right now I am a permanent moderator at a smaller group—about 231 members. I’m not the type to try and take over and “man the wheel”—I’m a helper.
I don’t mind steering the conversation for group discussions on books and Urban Fantasy and PNR tend to be my genres. (Been reading them before the genres had names.)
Also I'm a long time groupie here!
How many co-moderators you'd want to work with?
How ever many you decide. Personally I think having any more than five can kind of get messy.

I am also interested if any more help is needed in getting the group rolling again. I love Goodreads and interacting with different people everyday.
I co-moderate 2 other groups and loving hearing people contribute to the books they love and know.

Firstly I'm sorry I've let the group down by not being able to be around for ages, looks like you all got on well without me except for being left in the lurch moderator wise! Life kind of got on top of me and too many things took over!
We NEED more than me being a moderator of this fantastic and huge group! I will be around a bit from now on but not enough to handle the group.
So is anyone interested in being a moderator? I thought the best way to do it might be for people to declare their interest in this thread and others could nominate (with permission!) people or say why those who have been put forward should be moderators. (I will be checking my email even if I'm not on here)
I think it should be a group decision not simply up to me. We will choose 2, 3 or whatever from those mentioned here, the group will all receive a message to allow them to voice opinions. Maybe we will have a poll? What do you think?
