I'm also starting Flesh And Blood by Graham Masterton for a horror group read.

And why do we need another site?

I found it, rec. It's basically Goodread's competition site. I joined but honestly do not feel like loading all the books I've read to my profile same as Goodread's all over again. I found Charlene and KinksRock so far, but no sign of Baron or Marc, etc so far....

We really didn't need another site except for the spam.
In the horror forum we had a group reading thread, it's still there. It explains what we do which is basically read a book a horror book a week and then talk about it.
It's just Shelfari.com and it imports your Amazon books over for you. Froggy found me. Let me know Sharon if you want an invite to the group. : )

shelfari.com. Then follow the prompts. You can upload your Amazon purchases to it to make life easier, as Char said (thanks for the tip!). It's quite easy to join. Then find me or Charlene and you'll find the horror group she's talking about. Get an invite from her because I have no idea how to invite you. LOL

Weird! I found Charlene right away. I am only listed as LFrog1386 on there.

Um, dunno. Why not msg Charlene and hang out until she can walk you through it? I just got there so I am no help.

OH I did find you via Facebook and sent you an invite so perhaps check your FB to see if it's there?

One more way to find us: go to Search at the top of the page. Click the button on the Books box (at the end of the search option, NOT the top tab) and the drop down will give you more options. Click "groups" then type in Horror Readers. You'll find Char, Kinks and me in there and all you do is "follow" us to friend us.

I am TRYING to help you here, don't get pissed at me!

Yes but I still found it BEFORE I was added so it should be there. That's how I found Kinks and asked him to send me an invite before Charlene invited me herself.

LOL that's messed up. Mommacat says to try looking for her to find the group. She's the administrator.

I truly don't know what to tell you, then. I found Char really quick, then clicked on her profile to find the group, then clicked the group to find more members to follow. It truly was that simple for me. Perhaps it's just harder to navigate on your Kindle?

Ahhhh Jon, I just figured out why you can't find us and vice-versa. Under Profile, go to edits, then click on Account settings. Look at your user name. It's a NUMBER! you have to edit it and put in the name you want to use permanently and then a search will bring you up. I just changed mine to LFrog1386, so try to find me again.
I did try to find you under recluse and Jon recluse. And I think this is the reason why we didn't succeed. What a stupid set-up.

LOL He finally found me, Char. Read what I wrote about how to change your permanent user name from a # to what you want. I think that is why searches come up empty. He's Jon Recluse but a search won't bring him up. Find him thru me.

Fantasy/horror similar to Faerie Tale.
With the patented Herbert touch, of course.
I have some minor issues with it, mostly taste related, and feel I missed something on the first read, but, otherwise, it's a good book.

I finished Graham Masterton's Flesh And Blood. Meh.
There were a lot of formatting issues with it too. Like no space break of any kind when switching between characters/locations. A lot of words, such as the word 'that' were transformed into mat. A bunch of irritating things like that combined with a mediocre story and there you have it.

I am now reading The Girl Next Door in addition to Kealan's collection: theater macabre.
