message 2002: by Chris (new)

Chris (chrismccaffrey) Count me in. What is it about?

message 2003: by Jon Recluse (new)

Jon Recluse | 2066 comments Chris wrote: "Count me in. What is it about?"

I dunno.

Kealan said it's unconnected to anything he's ever written and "messed up, truly".

message 2004: by Chris (new)

Chris (chrismccaffrey) Hmmm. He does "messed up, truly" well.

message 2005: by Jon Recluse (new)

Jon Recluse | 2066 comments Yes, he does.

message 2006: by Bill (new)

Bill (shiftyj1) | 138 comments Indeed.

and...YES!! I want it!!

message 2007: by Char (new)

Char I guess it doesn't really matter what it's about. It's Kealan! :)

message 2008: by Jon Recluse (new)

Jon Recluse | 2066 comments I read The Tent.

I'm not going camping.
You can't make me go camping.

Hell, I'm not going outside anymore.

message 2009: by Squire (new)

Squire (srboone) Just finished Part I of Don Quixote, moving on to Vengeance (The Tainted Realm #1) by Ian Irvine , getting ready for The Number 121 to Pennsylvania and Others by Kealan Patrick Burke

Jonathan Janz (jonathanjanz) | 14 comments Working my way through Elmore Leonard's PRONTO and Edward Lee's COVEN. Leonard's my second-favorite author, and this one is just as excellent as I've come to expect Leonard's work to be; COVEN is my first foray into Lee's work, and while it's wild and different (his turn of phrase and word choice are often unexpected and offbeat), I'm finding it funny and entertaining.

message 2011: by Char (new)

Char I'm reading Cinema of Shadows which is about a haunted theater.
I'm reading The Throne of Bones by Brian McNaughton.
I'm reading The Fall of the House of Usher by Poe in preparation for reading Usher's Passing by Robert McCammon.

I am going to try to work The Tent in here somewhere.

message 2013: by Chris (last edited Apr 24, 2013 01:41PM) (new)

Chris (chrismccaffrey) Needed a change of pace so I am reading Tarzan the Untamed (#7 on my way through the set)

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/33...

Tarzan hunting down and killing Nazis in extreme and creative ways because he thinks that they killed Jane. He even works as a spy for the English Army.

Fun as a Saturday Matinee as a kid.

message 2014: by Marc (new)

Marc Iverson (marc_iverson) | 243 comments I loved the Tarzan and Korak, Son of Tarzan books when I was a kid. I probably read over 30 of them. Huge, pure fun.

I just finished Fluke, by James Herbert. Very good and well-imagined.

message 2025: by Robert Krone (new)

Robert Krone | 45 comments Just purchased The Tent and will be reading it sometime soon. Right now I am doing a read for review of a zombie novella that is definitely entertaining so far and also still reading The Hangman's Replacement Sprout of Disruption by Taona Dumisani Chiveneko which is a great read. Would be done with it by now if I didn't have other things needing my attention. This is definitely a unique book and I would highly recommend it
