Yvette | 124 comments OK, so I'm very forgetful, ask anybody that knows me...lol...I've looked to see if there was a place to post this but maybe I didn't look right 'cause I didn't find such a place.

Anyway, so there's this book that I cannot remember the name for. I didn't even read the whole book, only the first chapter that was free. I wanted to go back and buy but, oh silly me, forgot the name of the damn book. Help pls???

What I remember about the first chapter:

The guy is like a Navy SEAL or some military and he can control the weather or storms. He goes home because there's a big storm brewing (I think he lives in Louisiana) and his dad won't leave. So he takes leave from his job to go and get his dad out of the way of the storm. *I think it's a hurricane*

The girl works for some research people *or newspaper??* and she's sent in to get information about said guy. She's at the father's house when he arrives, taking a shower....why she's there I can't really remember. I think she bought the house or something, not sure.

Thats all I remember, I know it's not much but if you can help that'd be awesome!!

La La | 245 comments Sydney Croft's Riding the Storm. It's a part of her ACRO series which is similiar to X-Men. All 6 books are currently out now.

Yvette | 124 comments Is this series considered erotic? 'Cause it seems like it's going to have a lot of sex....or am I incorrect in my assumption?

La La | 245 comments It's an erotic paranormal novel. There is a lot of action in the story, but there is also just as much explicit sex. Sydney Croft is also Larissa Ione who wrote the Demonica Series, also a very good series.

I don't mind sex in books, most of the books I read have sex scenes, but when it passes like 2 sex scenes in ONE book, I tend to start skipping over them. It just gets old to me...

THANKS for the warning.
