Might be worth a look, if you post your thoughts there I'm sure people will read them and sometimes these old threads can get lively all over again.

Afraid I can't join you in a read along, no matter how much I would like to, that book just takes over your life when you start to read it.

I've always thought of LOTR as one book, which on a binge can be read on a few days. 3 months seems excessive?

I have been meaning to re-read LOTR for a while now, but there is always some other book or series to read. I am sure that if you began reading these books, many people would be willing to discuss. I think that there are probably a lot of people on here that have read these books many times over and would have lots to add to any discussion you resurrect. Enjoy!

I'm a long-time Tolkien reader and would certainly get in on any discussion that materializes. Don't have time to re-read the whole LOTR, but I ought to know it well enough to find anything I need to refresh quickly.
