Angela (angelatte) | 5 comments I am really sorry I don't remember all that much, but I've been looking for this book with just what I can remember for a few years now and haven't had any luck, so I hope someone here will recognize what I am describing!

The book is adult, with some mature content, and old. I remember the cover being faded and the pages being yellowed when I read it. I don't remember all that much of the plot or characters, but I'll mention the pieces I can pull together. It did have a female protagonist, and she was a loner and a sword fighter. At some point she challenges a man to a ring sword fight, and wins to his chagrin... Other than a few fuzzy images I don't want to muddle this up with, that is all I can say. What I remember most clearly is the cover. It had a girl, presumably the protagonist, on the cover sitting in an unladylike position and holding her sword.

I hope this is enough for someone to know what I'm talking about! If you have any questions, just ask and I'll try to answer...

Angela (angelatte) | 5 comments If it helps, I'm almost certain that either the title or the series name had "sword" in it in some fashion...

ambyr | 30 comments I'm going to guess Sword-Dancer.

Snail in Danger (Sid) Nicolaides (upsight) | 289 comments Sword-Dancer
Sword-Singer
Sword-Maker
Sword-Breaker

There are more ... they involve a pair of male and female sword-fighters.

Jirel of Joiry

The Privilege of the Sword is probably too new, but you'd be amazed how quickly books can yellow. :(
