Weenie Been on Goodreads a while but never joined this group because I always thought of myself as a fantasy/sci-fi kinda gal but fact is, I read (and enjoy) a lot of crime/thriller stuff too.

Authors I've liked include Val McDermid, James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell (her earlier work) and Kathy Reichs. Really liked the Stieg Larsson books, just trying out some Jo Nesbo too. Don't mind a bit of Dan Brown, Jeffrey Deaver and Harlen Coben.

So um...hi! :-)

aprilla Hi Weenie, I think a lot of us here read a bit of everything. I've enjoyed many from your list but haven't got to Harlan Coben yet... so hard to get to all the books on TBR lists!
You might like to try Lisa Gardner, I really enjoyed her DD Warren series, and Linwood Barclay, Karin Slaughter, Gillian Flynn are current favourites... and so many more!

Hi Weenie, Welcome to the group. Val McDermid's A Place of Execution is one of our group reads this month, so you can leap right into the conversation, if you want. Here's the link:

Glad you found us Weenie. With genres blending more frequently these days I'm sure you will find plenty of fantasy/sci-fi/crime/thriller fans here.

✿ ♥ Heather ♥ ✿ (frangiegal) Hi Weenie, I'm reading my first Val McDermid at the moment... Fever of the Bone. I'm really enjoying it.
