What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

About 6 or 7 years ago I read a book that I just really liked and cant remember anything about it. I want to try to find the author and read some of her other books..
The book was a romance or chick lit.. it was about this girl who was raped when she was in highschool and was so scared that she would keep bells and things on the doors to make sure no one would break in.. at some point her highschool sweetheart comes back who she dumped for no reason in high school.. you find out later she was raped by his rival football team.. sound familiar?
