I live advanced, actually! One liners bore me to no end. Did you want one gender of each character per person? Or do you prefer just playing the guy/girl.

So we'll say, demons are the lovely dark haired, red eyed, and black winged monsters, but they can easily use whatever demonic powers and easily some human touches to disguise themselves.
Is there a plot for the demon?
Should we have him be trying to kill someone or steal souls or something, or is it just a personal sort of fight? (: I'm more than willing to do either.
And of course we can do that!

Hm, we could do a bit of both, he's fighting up the ranks of the demon hierarchy, trying to get to the top, but to sustain himself he has to steal souls. All the while though he attempts to restrain himself and do it in a quick and humane way rather than than torture and do it violently like his fellow demons?
Though it's sort of a "murder" in a way, he's still attempting to be "good" in some fraction of his blackened heart.
I'm more than willing to make a roommate as a secondary character. Don't feel as though we have to add them in, though! I'm content either way :)

Appearance:

History: Filling it in as we go.
Other: Demon "queen" you could say.

Not to mention, she was more than ready to go out and mingle here and there. She'd already met a rather attractive dark haired boy named Alec, who'd been so kind as to lead her up to her dorm room.
"So, are you a freshman too?" the tall boy with pale skin and a charming smile asked as he helped her with a box heading up to her room.
"Yep." Charlotte replied with an easy smile, looking to the card in her hand. Her roommate's name was apparently Tabitha, and she was a little more than overwhelmed to be in this sort of place, among these people.
"Have you declared a major yet, or are you still deciding?" Alec asked, the words rolling off of his tongue in a velvety smooth voice.
"I'm split, so I haven't declared yet." she replied with a smile as they walked up the stairwell of one of the grand dorm buildings. "What about you?" she tilted her head in a puzzled way, studying him best she could in the narrow halls. Now and again she'd have to slip behind him to let another person pass.
"Undecided." was his simple reply as he stopped in front of an already open door. "You said forty-seven, right?" he eased a brow at the petite girl.
"Forty-seven." she confirmed, slipping past him and easily over the threshold into the single-window dorm. "Looks like my roommate's already here." she chuckled and placed her things down, motioning for Alec to do the same with his box. "Thanks again for all the help." she added quickly, glad to have been able to meet someone friendly enough to help her out.
"Don't mention it." he replied coolly, a slow smile playing on the thin lips that stretched across his face.

"That's me." she said with a smile, her fingers clasping slowly around her hand, as if unsure, and giving a firm shake. "It's nice to meet you, Tabitha." Charlotte replied, her eyes wandering.
Her gaze fell on her friend, the boy who'd followed her into the room. She swallowed at the man and quickly dropped her hand from Tabitha's, realizing her eyes had lingered.
Alec, who'd been leaning back against the wall behind Charlotte, looked up at her introduction. "This is--"
"Alec." he said smoothly, pushing himself off the wall in a fluid motion, extending his hand to the obviously human woman before him. "Alec Penn." his dark eyes swept over her, and vaguely he heard Charlotte going on.
"...he was just helping me find the room, and ended up helping me move some boxes." she was going on with an almost unnerved laugh, but managed to compose herself.

The smirk that subtly graced his lips was short lived, and a low, rumbling laugh shook his shoulders. "No, no." he said, casting a sideways glance at Charlotte. "I just hang around here to pick up girls."
All the while Charlotte had been looking at Warren in a flustered way. She swallowed, feeling slightly guilty, though the stab had been intended at Tabitha. She shifted and gave a wry smile.
"Well," she said simply, moving to sit down. "It's nice to meet you, Warren." she decided with a small smile.

How terribly stupid was that? Idiot. Idiot. she cursed herself in her head.
She was fairly sure that neither Alec or Tabitha hadn't really noticed her small outburst, and was thankful for that. She busied herself with tidying up her bed while the other two talked.
He gave an easy chuckle, his cheeks puffing out in a contemplative manner. His gaze followed Warren out of the room, then flicked back to Tabitha.
"If I told you, it would ruin the illusion. I mean, I suppose I could." he replied thoughtfully, pursing his lips. "But what would be the fun in telling you?" he grinned. "Keeping you guessing seems... Entertaining." he said smoothly, his eyes traced over her. She seemed so unnerved by his prescrnse. He wondered vaguely if he was somehow hinting at his identity.

Alec gave a soft chuckle, and his shoulders rose and fell in a simple, shrugging motion. Though her question wasn't one that really needed an answer, the small fragment of a cocky attitude nagged at him. Of course he felt the undeniable need to come up with a response, to see what else she had to say.
"What can I say?" he asked innocently. "We like having control, and we like seeming mysterious." he gave a grin. "It makes us seem sexy, which is apparently a popular quality amongst you college girls." he flashed her a charming smile. "At least, that's my theory."
His gaze flickered to Charlotte, then to Warren, and back to Tabitha again. Though he wasn't one to impose, he was still curious about her and wasn't about to draw away so quickly.
"I suppose a spot of food couldn't hurt.." he trailed. Alec's dark eyes moved to Charlotte, who's gaze was fixated on Warren for the time being. "What do you think?"
The blonde was slow to react, but once she became aware of her surroundings, and managed to remove her eyes from the arms that strained against the red fabric of Warren's shirt, she smiled. She almost reddened, but ignored her embarrassment in an attempt to keep herself composed.
"Sure." Charlotte said, her voice a bit higher than it should have been. She stood up quickly and brushed her hair from her face. "Any ideas on where to go for food around here?" her blueish eyes flickered from one occupant of the room to the next, curious.

"Pizza would be fine with me." Charlotte offered, looking down. Her wedged sandals would've made an uncomfortable walk, but she wore the vintage looking grey and faded floral open-toed shoes whenever she could. She wasn't fond of her short height. Her fingers fell to the hem of her grey off the shoulder tunic that draped over her small frame. She slowly moved her fingers across the stitching and gave a wry smile.
Alec, who'd been looking at his watch, slid his hands back into the pockets of his dark washed jeans. He looked to Charlotte and gave an appreciative nod for being the one to decide amongst their small group. It was a shame, really, this food wouldn't do much for him. He'd have to sustain himself tonight on one of the new students.
"I'm up for Pizza if you are." he replied with a simple shrug. His hands moved to his dark wavy hair, while his fingers combed it back into place before scratching at his hardly stubbled jaw. He was always cleanly shaven these days, he liked to present himself that way.
"That is, if you both are." his gaze landed on Tabitha again, his dark brown eyes unreadable. They lingered on her too long, and he knew he was staring, but there was something about her that had his attention. He flicked a sideways glance at Warren and raised a dark eyebrow, curious as to their input.

She was so close, he was tempted to reach out and touch the bronzed skin just within his reach. his hand tingled at the memory of her warm grasp. He was desperate to try to push that thought away.
Demons couldn't be involved with humans.
"Sounds great." he replied after she'd finished, and was quick to turn his attention from her supple looking lips. He gave a glance between Charlotte and Warren, expression blank.
Charlotte, who'd been attempting not to look at Warren and stare like a fool, quickly straightened. She picked up her wallet and slipped a few bills into her pockets, looking between the three of them. Her gaze lingered on Tabitha's cousin momentarily, but she was quick to right herself.
"Alright." she smiled and followed Tabitha's lead, walking by Warren and murmuring a shy "thank you" of appreciation under her breath as she passed. She tried to collect her scattered nerves once more. She wasn't the greatest at this whole.. Idea of enjoying someones company. She wouldn't be so juvenile to say it was a "crush" or anything of the sort.
After the girls had exited, Alec made a gesture for Warren to go ahead of him. Best to keep whatever distance he could from Tabitha. He didn't need to get any ideas in his head about her. And of course at that moment the fleeting memory of her hands, her lips, came back. He shook his head in a dismissive way. He wasn't to think of her so objectively. She was a human. She was a human with some odd appeal, something that had him curious, but still a human.
"After you." he broke away from his thoughts and took the door from Warren, walking into the crowded halls after him and shutting the door behind him.

His unbeating heart began to sink from his chest to his stomach, then flew up into his throat. He knew that he couldn't spend more time with her than socially necessary.
Charlotte's eyes widened in slight surprise at the offer. Sit up front? Next to..
Her gaze darted to Warren, and the hope inside her seemed to boil over.
"O-oh!" she said in slight surprise, her eyes glinting with shock. "I wouldn't want to ruin the whole idea of calling the front seat for you." she smiled. Not a complete no, just trying to be polite about the entire thing. She gave a soft laughed and a smirk played on her lips. "Unless you really want to sit next to Alec." she grinned slightly, glancing to the dark haired boy who sat in the back already.

"I'll take your lack of an answer to her statement as conformation that you do want to sit with me." he grinned at her, but didn't say anything else about it. He glanced out the window idly.
Charlotte, surprised by the offer almost as much as she'd been by her unhealthy erratic heartbeat, could only manage a startled thank you. Her cheeks reddened at Warren's comment, and she just as quickly hopped into the front seat.
"Sorry." she added sheepishly. Her fingers automatically went to her necklace.

Her nerves were what she was worried about.
As they all exited out of Warren's car, she took note of the smug smile on Alec's lips hinted at his obviously victorious feeling for having to seemingly make Tabitha "speechless" in his mind. He and Charlotte stood close to the other two, her hands clasped in front f her and his hands clasped behind.
"Shall we?" he asked in his smooth tone.

"I don't mind tables, but sometimes they're just too small." Charlotte agreed with her. "Plus, a booth is far more comfortable." she added in a delighted tone.
Alec's arm trembled with shivers when she brushed by, and he could still feel her there. His mind wandered to her, and his eyes seemed to follow suit. He found himself admiring her, not checking her out but genuinely admiring her.
He had to get her out of his head.
"Girls, huh?" he looked to Warren, tearing his eyes away from Tabitha. "Very energetic about simple things."

"Pepsi, please." she flashed the kind woman a thankful smile.
Alec, who was the last in their small line of people, took a seat close by Tabitha. He glanced up at the young, copper-haired woman who was taking their order.
"Oh, I suppose it's up to me to be the different one in this group." he pursed his lips.
His eyes scanned ofer the drink menu. He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth and puffed out his cheeks.
"Oh, I'll take a Sprite, I suppose. Or Mountain Dew, whatever you have." he grinned at her.

Unconsciously he leaned closer, the length of his arm brushing hers as he moved to get a better look at his menu.
"I'm up for that." he agreed, glancing to Warren.
"The salad bar would be an added bonus." Charlotte said brightly.
She looked down at the deal he spoke of. Her gaze drifted to Warren next to her. She shut her eyes, pulling herself together. After a long moment, her eyes flicked to Tabitha.
"What do you think, Tabitha, sound good?" she asked.

"It's probably that whole sexy nice guy illusion we discussed in your dorm." he replied with ease.
Charlotte let out a soft laugh at the remark and shook her head. She thankfully took her Pepsi and brought it to her lips, unnoticeably nudging Warren's arm by accident.
"Don't worry," Alec continued, nudging Tabitha back and giving a mock intense stare. "I won't let her tear us apart." a grin threatened the corners of his mouth.

"You don't have to say it." he replied, leaning in a bit closer to her. The clean scent of aftershave was all that he donned. "I can see it in your eyes."
Charlotte was surprised Warren was even looking at her, let alone speaking to her. So surprised, in fact, that she had missed the interaction between Alec and Tabitha all together. She stared up at him, shyly fingering her necklace.
"The.. Phi Alpha thing?" she asked, looking at him curiously.
She was humiliated by the newness of the information to her, but now she was genuinely curiously.
"I.. I haven't heard of it. What is it?"

Fun. Right.
"I'd love to go." she said with a smile, looking up at him easily. "I mean, it sounds kind of crazy, but it'll be a good time." she gave a quiet chuckle and combed her hair from her eyes with her slender fingers. "Right?" she added, sounding hopeful.
Alec stared at Tabitha in his intense way. His dark eyes searched over the planes of her face, his gaze unmoving. When her hand moved, he felt his breath catch in his throat. She was going to touch him.. He was waiting so expectantly when the waitress returned. He allowed himself to laugh the matter up and looked up at the woman with his charming grin.
"Thank you." he said pleasantly, a smile dancing on his lips. "I think my friend here might need another drink." he smirked at Tabitha. "She seems to be at a loss for words, perhaps another Pepsi will help." he suggested to the waitress.

"Salad sounds delightful." she decided, recovering and getting up to head to the salad bar. She stood close by to wait for the others.
Alec couldn't breathe, her hands pressed against his chest, her floral scent. Everything about her was so intoxicating. He couldn't stand her. The demon wouldn't allow her to get into his head and under his skin. That was his goal with her, not the other way around.
"Surprised?" he grinned, ignoring her remark about his being cocky, but picking up on her obvious shock at the touch. "You definitely doubt me too much." he teased, leaning closer again before standing.
He allowed her to move past him, glancing at the fleeing waitress. He grimaced and looked to Tabitha once more. Though he wanted to say something, he felt the need to be a bit more sensitive around the woman. She seemed nice enough. He allowed his fingertips to brush the small of Tabitha's back as she passed, but that was all. He dropped his hand as if nothing happened. Instead, he picked up his plate and gestured for her to lead the way.
"Ladies first."

She made her way after Tabitha, scooping up salad and a bit of light dressing. Her gaze flickered to her new roommate. Something seemed wrong, which made Charlotte's features darken with concern. She was quick to step closer, tentatively standing beside her.
"Tabitha?" she looked at her curiously. "Are you alright? Alec isn't bothering you, is he?" she frowned.
Alec let out a soft laugh, following after. He enjoyed the distance, his mind working on overtime to analyze everything that had had just happened to him. To them. He could feel the burn in his fingertips after touching him. He couldn't get his mind off of how she'd stared at him, hand to his face, lingering so close to him.
He was quick to shake away the thoughts, and moved along behind the others. He picked up a bit of salad, not much, and moved along easily past the others, not wanting as much. He strode back to the table.

Now it would seem her mind was stuck elsewhere, the furthest away from Alec.
"Well, I'm glad he's not a bother. I'd hate to think I brought along someone irritating." Charlotte replied with a smile. She took her plate and walked with her roommate back to the table. "Ready." she agreed.
Alec glanced up at Warren. His gaze caught on Tabitha while they were walking back, and he nearly missed the question directed at him. He had to pull himself back to reality and force himself to stop thinking of her.
"I just met her." he said after a delayed moment. "She was lost. And she needed a lot of help, boxes upon boxes with her. So I helped her out." he shrugged.

"No." he chuckled in a low voice, smiling. "No, you don't have to worry about that at all, not that she's not a nice girl or anything, I just.. Don't see her like that." he finished just as they came into earshot.
Charlotte sat down beside Warren, having missed all of their little talk. She placed her napkin in her lap and looked up at Alec and Tabitha.
Alec craned his neck to look at Tabitha. A soft laugh escaped his lips. "Well, I could get up. But I think you and I would both prefer it if you crawled across."
He let out a laugh and got to his feet. He stepped aside and smiled, gesturing for her to pass by.

"Yes." he said with a grin. "But don't doubt yourself, I know you'd love it too." he chuckled softly.
He studied he movements. A smooth, authoritative move to the pizza. Then a quick, obviously painful recoil that ended with a finger to her lips. He felt his gaze fixated more on her mouth than on the finger she was trying to nurse. He blinked, Charlotte nudging his foot under the table to get him to return back to them.
"Yeah." he snapped to reality. "Ice will help lessen the pain. I'll get you some pizza." he said with a smooth grin, plucking up a slice and placing it on her plate. "There, no injury needed."

"I don't live on campus." he said simply. "I rent an apartment from my uncle who lives a mile away. It was a pretty good deal. I have my own place, and I can do whatever I like. " the demon replied. "And I don't have to worry about things like a sock on the doorknob to tell me my roommate is "busy" or anything like that."
His hand reached for his sprite and he brushed her arm. Though he pretended not to notice, a tremendous shiver shot up his spine. He ignored the reaction and glanced about.
"You probably won't have that problem with Charlotte. But, that's just a guess. Do you like the campus?" he asked conversationally.
Charlotte's hand instinctively dropped to her necklace, and her fingers clasped around it. For the millionth time in her life her thumb traced the profile of the woman. She smiled warmly at Warren.
"I don't know. You could say that. My great grandmother received it as a gift from her lover before he was murdered. It'd been passed down through my family ever since." she chuckled. "Or at least, that's what they told me. Though it does have her name inscribed." She slipped the clasp from her neck and held it out. She smiled brightly. "If you'd like to look, go right ahead."

""I haven't." the younger blonde admitted, twirling a strand of her hair around her right index finger as she thought. "It was so long ago, I wouldn't know where to start." she mused and fought the frown that threatened to tug at her lips. "They lived in London at the time, so that's something. Do you know if.. Maybe some time you could help me?" she asked. "I mean, no preassure. You just seem to know a lot about this sort of thing." she gestured to the ornate necklace. "Maybe you could--" she was cut off at that moment.
Her eyes widened as she watched Tabitha moving. She crawled over Alec's lap like a child, or an animal, she wasn't sure which to compare her roommate - and new friend - to in this scenario. She could only stare after her and begin to stand to follow her out, but Alec was on his feet before she could.
"Exscuse me." he said distractedly and walked swiftly - a bit calmer - from the resturaunt than the woman who had proceeded him.
He passed by the kind copper-haired woman who was serving them, the Pepsi he had ordered in her hand. He didn't cast a glance her way. Instead he moved swiftly through the glass doors at the entrance and into the warm summer air. He looked around, his head moving this way and that until he found her, standing on the side walk just beside the pizza joint they'd been in.
"Tabitha?" the way her name rolled off his lips, he felt something inside him. He liked the sound, he liked saying it. "Tabitha." there it was again, her name. It was like music. "Is something wrong?" he moved too quickly to her side, his hand resting on her shoulder. He had been joking with her, but now he was too concerned. Had he said something? "Did I offend you? Make you uncomfortable?" he frowned at her. "Are you alright?" He hardly noticed the rush of questions that he sputtered at her. His eyes were wide with worry, concern highlited his features.
What was wrong with him? He was never like this. Never about a girl.

"Are you sure?" she asked uneasily. She shifted herself slowly, readjusting. "She seemed upset." she murmured softly. "Oh.. I hope she'll be alright." she murmured softly and frowned, glancing up at him.
Alec frowned, studying her. She was lying straight to his face, through her teeth. He could see it so easily, she'd been fine before, she just seemed more severe now. Something was wrong.
"Nervous around people." he stated skeptically and nodded. "Right. Sure. Whatever you say." Alec replied and shook his head. "Don't worry about me, you kicked me in the stomach, but I didn't really feel it." he shrugged. "Just need air? You want me to go inside, leave you be?" he asked.

"Yeah." he decided. He moved his arm, allowing her hand to slide down to his. "Yeah. Let's get out of here." he decided, nodding.
Charlotte leaned closer to Warren and gave a soft laugh, shaking her head. She was almost proud of her for running out. It was obvious Alec wasn't going to be coming back either. She was almost thankful that he'd gone after her.
"Tell her it's fine. That we'll see her later." she smiled slightly and looked up at Warren. "It would seem that we've been abandoned." she let out a soft laugh, her lips stretching in a slow smile.

She didn't dare lift her hand. She was so sure he would see right through her, take note of the tremours that were rocking up and down her arms. Her stomach did flips, but she managed to calm herself down. She moved herhands to clasp the necklace back around her neck and shivered slightly as the now cool metal brushed her skin.
She glanced to Warren and gave a small smile. "You know..." she began, glancing at the empty seats. "We don't have to stay here.." she offered him the escape willingly. She didn't want to force him to hang around her.
Alec looked down at their hands. He felt that odd, tingling sensation again, but somehow was managing to keep his cool. He looked at her, nodding his head slowly, but got lost for a moment. Her lips, her eyes, her nose, the curve of her cheek and the way she looked under the streetlights. He had to literally force himself to stop looking at her and pay attention to the question she'd asked. It was starting to get to him.
"Yeah." he finally said as they crossed the crosswalk, blinking in the glaring headlights. "There's a place this way." he tugged her gently to the right as they made their way to the other side and headed down the street. He tried to keep his eyes focused on the cracks in the sidewalk, but couldnt make himself stop glancing up at her. He led her down the street and around the block, through mazes of sidestreets and seas of cars. Soon enough, he'd led her all the way to Central Park. "Here we are."

"Actually," she said slowly, nodding her head. "I think that'd be great. I'd love to see what you want to show me." she added in her usual way, though her voice had jumped a bit with excitement. She couldn't contain that smile rise, the twinge in her stomach.
Alec stood over Tabitha, watching her. Someone that wasn't as observant as he might have just stood around. But he.. He was different. He studied everything about her; the way her long lashes came together around the rims of her eyelids, the way her lips seemed to come to a thin line that suggested serenity and calmness. He'd never seen anyone look so fragile and radiant at the same time. He looked up at the sinking sun. It's final rays were sparse and fleeting, but the beauty of it seemed to emphisize hers as well.
"You're welcome." he replied with a small smile, shutting his eyes and taking a breath, letting himself - for the first time in a very long while - be at peace and not care about what was going on in the world around him. It was so easy to block out everything. Everything but her. He could still hear her breathing, almost see the rise and fall of her chest, which quickly sent other thoughts racing through his mind, but he was quick to recover. Her voice was so lovely, he almost missed the sound in the few seconds of silence that fell in between their curt exchange. "I'm sorry I couldn't bring you to a place with less people, but we are in New York." he replied.

"Alright." she agreed, sliding herself from the booth and looking up at him. "I have my key with me." she added. "In case we actually remebered to lock the door." Charlotte was always the forgetful one. She'd had quite a few close calls with leaving her keys in the car, running too.
Pushing the embaressing thoughts aside, she looked up at Warren. For a moment she felt those butterflies, and she quickly had to push them away. This was no time for her to be fawning all over her new friend's cousin... Even if she was fairly sure her friend was off with Alec, having a grand old time with him. She glanced around and gave a smile, walking to the doors and holding it open due to his hands being full.
Alec looked down at her and gave a slight smile. She was fascinating sometimes. Sometimes? Most of the time, rather. She had this way about her that kept him guessing. One second he couldn't touch her, the next she was pressed against him. He was so confused, he was so drawn to her. She made him question every bit of his demonic soul-sucking nature, which scared the hell out of him.
"You don't bite, eh?" he said with a mocking laugh. "I know that fairly well, but I can't be sure. You had this look in your eye when I was close to you." he said with a soft laugh.
He loved joking with her, messing around with her. He moved next to her, taking a seat beside her. He shifted and felt his leg and brushed against her, a sudden jolt making him look up at her. There was something about her.. Something about the way it felt that made him stay like that, unwilling to pull away. No. Instead he just looked back around the park before letting his gaze fall on her once again.

"Are you alright?" she asked with a soft laugh, shutting the door for him and beginning to make the walk along to the doorm building and opening the door for him. The halls had cleared out, and only a few late-arrivers stood in the halls with their boxes. They'd probably made the smarter choice, coming later rather than sooner. It left more space, and a bit more breating air than there was when there had been a million people in there earlier, along with their family and friends. Or in Charlotte's case, strangers. She made her way down the hall with her and found that the door was - in fact - locked. She withdrew her key and unlocked the door for him, gesturing for him to go before her.
Alec looked down at her with a grin. He pursed his lips and shook his head. "It was more of a look of desire." he said with a grin. "Like you wanted something, something that you just couldn't admit to yourself." he grinned at her and relaxed against the trunk of the tree. His neck craned slightly and he leaned closer to her slightly, almost unnoticably.
However, he was jolted in surprise by her sudden closeness. Her cheek was so soft, she rested her head against his shoulder and he felt himself slowly becoming less and less aware of everything that was going on around him. He swallowed hard and looked down at her. She looked so.. Sad. He couldnt stop himself before his hand reached out and nearly touched her face. Was that a tear he saw? He couldn't tell. He really hoped he hadn't made her cry.. Or that it hadn't been something he said. But he was almost sure that it was some painful past memory, something she was re living that was making her upset. He managed to stop his fingers from bushing her cheek, but lamely let it fall around her shoulders. The one thing that he wanted was to make the pain go away for her, he didn't want her to be upset.
"I.. Don't." he said, looking down at her. He was almost surprised by the notion. Did she think he had a girlfriend? An actual life to get back to. "Unless, I mean, you have someplace you need to get to." he said, trying to seem casual, but he was curious.

Her laugh was a wonderful sound. It made him feel warm inside. Being the cause of such a delightful sound was new to him. He usually only drew dying screams from people, never warm laughs or smiles, or even things like close contact. The movement of her shaking her head sent a wave of her lilac scent at him. For a long moment, he was in a daze. Her skin was so soft, he noted when he allowed his fingers to brush the base of her neck whilst passing to her shoulder. She smelled so nice, and was so very warm..
"You don't have to explain it to me." he reassured when she started and stopped her sentence. "The last thing I want is for you to feel preassured for that sort of thing. Your past is your past." Alec said, looking at her in a mannor that emphisized his words. "And I don't mind.. This. Being clingy." he muttered under his breath. He didn't like admitting how it felt, how nice it was.
He watched her for awhile in the light of the fading sun. The rays danced on her dark hair, and rimmed the profile of her face. She looked beautiful, in a way he hadn't seen a woman in before. It scared him, it thrilled him. He hadn't realized he was staring until she was speaking again. Her lips were moving in that slow way, rhythmic, as if they were moving to taunt him. He had to snap away from that thought before he did anything rash.
"Sparred?" he asked, his brows furrowing. He'd fought before, sure, but sparred? For fun? He'd never had the pleasure. Any sort of combat he'd taken part in was a fight for his life, a fight to go on and live another day. "I can't say that I have." he said with a slight smile. "At least, not in the way I believe you're refering to." he added.

She shook her head, waving the thought away with her free hand. "Don't worry about it." she chuckled softly. "As long as we're not out until one in the morning, I should be fine. I won't sleep much tonight anyway." she added with a smile. "Nerves and all."
He let out a low laugh and rose to his feet, eyeing Tabitha. "Fighting." he prompted. "But without really injuring one another. Yes. I figured that was what you meant." he grinned slightly. Sparring was something he'd never tried. Given this chance, he was more than happy to. "Well then." he said, watching has she swept the hair up off of her neck and back into a ponytail. "You'll just have to show me how good you are." he grinned mockingly.
He dusted himself off and tossed his jacket to the ground. Distantly his car keys jingled, along with his wallet thudding to the ground. He'd go easy on her at first, he resolved, but if she happened to be as good at this as he expected her to be, then he'd have a grand time fighting with her.

Almost. But she wouldn't let him know that.
"Nearly there?" she murmured and smiled as she listened to his tale. "Tennis class?" she asked with a grin, listening to what he he'd done. "Well, I'll be sure not to be late for Psychology." she let out a soft chuckle. "Especially with Mr. Krimmins teaching. I've heard from a few upperclassmen that he's a fairly tough teacher." she mused. "But I'll be sure to set my alarm to the appropriate time." Charlotte laughed easily. "I'll just have to learn from your mistakes. " she teased, grinning as they neared his little surprise.
Alec chuckled, watching her take her stance in the setting sun. He copied her defensive hand movements and pressed his feet into the soft green of the grass. "Sounds interesting enough." he replied as he moved his weight from foot to foot, preparing himself. "Though I think you're the one that won't be able to handle it." he grinned slightly. "I assume the loser is the first on the ground? Or was it the first on his back for an alotted period of time?" he mused frogetfully.
He flashed her one of his charming grins. "Refresh my memory?" he asked, almost coyly as he watched her.

She couldn't be quite sure of how that must've gone over. From the way she'd seen her brothers lumbering around in the morning, shirtless and in a pair of boxer shorts, she couldn't help but color at the thought of him walking into a class that way. Her mind was momentarily filled with that mental image, and her heart skipped a beat. She shouldn't be thinking of him like that. She was going to get herself in over her head with thoughts like that.
She looked up when he spoke again, not really noticing his long silence. She stared up in confusion. A church? Why would he bring her here? She swallowed hard, hoping this wasn't going to be like one of those terrible horror movies she'd seen back home. She smiled slightly at him and nodded. "Thanks." she said as she stepped through, stopping inside and staring around in surprise.
"Well then," Aelc began with a grin as she placed her hand on his chest. "May the best man--" he was cut off by her sudden push and trip. He flailed a moment before hooking to the side.
He managed to land himself on his hands and knees and quickly hopped to his feet, recovering. "Is that how it's going to be?" he grinned. "Fine then." Alec replied before lunging at her, his arms moving to take a hold of her by the shoulder. All the while his feet kept a steady, rhythmic movement, not allowing her to get away with hooking him around the knees again.
(xD oh indecisiveness. I suppose I'll let them sparr a bit more before making him fall)

The moment she reached the top her heart stuck in her throat, and she thought she might not be able to breathe again.
"This is.." she stared around in awe, looking up at the shattered glass ceiling of the church. She couldn't understand how something so broken could look so.. Beautiful. "This is amazing." she whispered, allowing herself to be pulled this way and that as he led her through the rubble that was once the grand church. She kept her grip on his hand as she stopped in the exact center of the room and stared out at where the sky was slowly fading from blue to orage and pink, a swirl of colors.
She took a seat beside him, glancing down first. "Warren.." she managed to choke out, glancing up at him with wide eyes. She wasn't able to put into words how this place made her feel. She glanced back to where he was gesturing and stared out, not beliving there could be something better than this.
Alec let out a surprised cry as soon as she'd grabbed him and ended up pressing against him. That second of weakness, the second he took to savor the moment, feeling her there, was the second that lead to his downfall.
He didn't get a chance to make his reply. He struggled as he was put in a lock, and he knew exactly what was coming next. He thrashed slightly, a determined grimace on his face as he gritted his teeth. He couldn't lose like this, not so easily!

"This is the most amazing place in the entire world." she said softly, listening to him. "I can't believe I'm so lucky.." she murmured quietly. "You really are.. The kindest person I've met in a very long time.. If not ever." she murmured and felt her cheeks reddening.
She followed his gaze down to his hand. She couldn't believe the way he was holding onto her hand. His hand was so soft and warm, the way it enveloped her own. She couldn't help but blush like a fool. He was so perfect. Her blue green eyes moved to his face, his lovely features. It was so funny the way she thought of him, the way that in one moment she held onto his his hand. She locked her gaze onto his and felt her face warm, her ears turning bright red. Her mouth went dry, but distantly she heard herself whisper a raw "thank you." It hit her hard that she was a person he trusted enough to show someplace like this.
In a quick second, he'd gone from being on his feet to being on the grass. He let out a panful 'unf!' but that was all he managed to get out. She landed on top of him, so light but the force that had been behind her hit was one that knocked them out of the air. He groaned softly and openedhis eyes, and he was lost for the longest moment. He stared at her in awe, his dark eyes locked on her own for a minute longer than they should have been. Had his heart actually been a functioning one, he was sure that she could've felt it pounding in his chest and ears. The stunned look on his face was probably enough to emphisize the fact that he should've been blushing.
A slow smile made it's way across his lips when she spoke. A soft laugh followed, and he found himself studying the way her face looked from this position. The blush that stayed there was something he'd not expected to see in a long while. His hands moved gently to her sides and held her steady. "Well, I guess grace just isn't your forte, is it?" he asked with a grin.

Her face reddened instantly. She saw his hand pulling hers up. Her heart skipped a beat, and then picked up tempo. It thrummed loudly in her ears, sent the blood rushing to her cheeks.
And so suddenly his lips were against her skin. She gasped softly and swallowed. How was this so perfect? His lips were so soft.. She stared at him and sighed inaudibly when he pulled away.
"Don't be sorry." she whispered, her face red as a tomato. "I-It's.. No problem at all.." she said softly.
He stared up at her. This position, the way she was on him, it wasn't right. A wave of thoughts, impure ones, rushed through his mind. He tried his best to ward off those thoughts. The last thing he needed was to be thinking of her like that, in such a way.
"So you're saying I make you weak?" he grinned and took her hands. He pressed his toes into the ground and hopped up, a lazy gin on his face. He was so close to her, his hands encasing her own, he couldn't help but think of how far her lips were from his own. And with that, how much he wanted to change it. "Well, thank you." he winked.

The thoughts ran through her head, the feeling of his kiss, his hands on her. She could lean in right now and find out. Kiss him now and taste his lips on hers, the warmth of his hands on her hips, perhaps. It would be so perfect... But she was far too shy.
His words drew her back, startling her. "If you're ready." she smiled. She stood, already missing how warm he'd been, and offered her hands to help him up. "Them we can go." she said with a shy smile.
"Well can you blame me?" Alec asked with a grin. "Especially someone headstrong as you? It's a pleasure." he grinned. He tilted his head down to look at her. Her beautiful face in the moonlight was something he couldn't resist, no matter how he tried.
Her lips seemed to glisten. His mind wandered back to the room, her putting on her lip gloss. He wondered, vaguely, if it was flavored, if he could taste it when he kissed her. He was determined to find out. He moved closer to her, watching her as he made his move. He was within inches of her mouth, those soft, supple looking lips. Just one kiss.
And then the screaming started. He was forced to withdraw without another second to think about it. He looked up, then to her. Thinking over the danger, and her sparring skill, he tightened his grip on her hand and tugged her arm. "Come on." he said in an almost controling way. He moved quickly with her to the screaming, tense.

Could it?
He crumpled before her in seconds, bleeding, lying unnaturally. She let out a strangled sob, dropping to he knees. "Warren.. Warren.." she shook him, her hands pressing hard to the wound to try to slow the flow of blood. "Shit." she whispered, withdrawing his phone from his pocket and desperately dialing Tabitha, keeping preassure on his wounds. She needed help, and she needed it now. There was no one else she knew to call.
Alec let out a wordless growl as the dark creature drew itself from the shadows. He had to get her out of here, someplace safe, someplace he could abandon his human cover and battle the werewolf before it could touch her.
His fingers clamped around her wrist and he was running with her in tow. "We have to get out of here." he snarled beneath his breath.
He wouldn't forgive himself if he let another person he cared about die on his watch. He'd never live with it, especially if it was Tabitha.
He dashed from the park with her in tow, his fingers locked around her wrist. "You have to get out of here." he urged, looking wildly for a cab of some sort. "You have to go. Now."

"Warren, Warren don't do this to me." she pleaded, trying to sit him up. "I have to call Tabitha.. If we can get outside, maybe I can get an ambulance." she whispered. They wouldn't make it much further than the Church doors if he was even able to move. "Do you think you could stand?" she whispered.
Probably not, but she had to try. Charlotte took hold of his waist and grunted, trying to move his heavy body. He wasn't large, but with no help, a deadweight body wasn't something she could easily move.
The tables turned quickly, and he was the one who was being dragged. "Tabitha--" he whispered but received a shove. He was jostled into the car and shoved into the back seat. He opened his mouth to make an entirely inappropriate remark about the position when her hand clamped over his mouth.
He listened closely to their breathing, dying to jump out and put up a fight. He couldn't afford to lose her, he wouldn't let himself get her hurt. He could hear the sound of their fading footsteps and sighed.
Then her phone rang. His eyes widened at the shrill sound. His hands flew to her sides, roaming her backside for her phone. Had it been any different, he wouldn't have been caught dead patting her down in the back of a car, but the needed to shut that phone up!

"Warren?" Alec's cool voice drifted over the line.
Her heart lept and she nearly dropped him. She managed to get him to the top of the stairs, breathing heavily, and sobbed into the phone thankfully. Her rambling began there, her hands pressing down on Warren's shoulder trying to stop the blood. So much blood..
Alec grunted, his legs pulled into his chin. Right now, he couldn't be a demon. Not in front of Tabitha. But he could fight as best he was able to. Maybe if he managed to avoid a bite, he wouldn't slip from his form. With a hard kick, he sent the wolf flying out the glass window of the blue Sedan and opened the phone.
"Warren?" he asked with wide eyes.
He jumped out of the van behind the wolf, determined to keep the now bleeding animal away from Tabitha as she was with the other. He wondered if her sparring skills would be any use in this sort of fight. He was shocked when Charlotte's voice drifted over the line. She was crying, something had gone wrong with Warren, and from the blood dripping from the jaws of the wolf, he had a good idea what it was.
"We're on our way. Keep preassure on the wound. Stay on the line." he slipped the open phone into his pocket and lunged at the wolf.
The two wrestled, Alec's hand locking around the neck of the animal as he pinned it against the asphalt. He snarled in his demonic way, brown eyes flashing red, which - in effect with the strangulation - made the moster whimper. He kicked it hard, snapping it's neck to the side as he managed to rip it off of him with only a few scratches. The bleeding animal, glass sticking out of it's flesh, gave a pathetic whimper and dashed off into the shadows.
One down. One to go. He'd finish it off later that night.
He sprinted around the blue Sedan and skittered to a stop, looking wildly at Tabitha. His eyes widened at her and the wolf, his fists balled.

She pressed her lips to his cheek, teats blurring her vision while she squeezed his hand. "You're going to be okay." she whispered, holding onto him. "I promise, you're going to be okay."
Alec nodded, moving quickly to her side. "We have to go." he panted, shaking his head quickly. "We have to. It's Warren. He and Charlotte were attacked at a church a few blocks from the Pizza place." he said, taking her hand. "She's freaking out. Apparently there was a lot of blood."
He dug the phone out from his pocket and handed it over to her. "Are you alright?" he looked over her quickly, frowning at her back. "I don't know if she's still on the line, but I do know we won't have much time if we don't get to them fast." he said anxiously.

But It couldn't be.
She placed her hands on the side of his face and kissed him back sweetly, hot tears streaming down her face. The thought of losing him only after a day hurt her enough to tell her that something had to be there, some sort of feelings for him. She couldn't push him away, tell him that they could do this later. There might not be a later. For the few seconds that could be his last, Charlotte held his delicate face in her hands and kissed him with whatever broken shards of hope she had left in her heart.
The crack of the doors disrupted the thoughts. The sounds of footsteps followed. They were going to live, maybe, if Warren could get through this. She drew back from him, her face red from crying and the blush that had settled on her face. She looked up at Tabitha, who stood in shock at the top of the stairs, and let out a shakey sob of relief, trembling.
"We have to get him out of here." she said hoarsely, as if what she'd just stumbled in upon had been nothing.
Alec took off after her, his fingers wrapping around the cold plastic of the phone and his feet pushing him forward. He was colose behind her, always keeping her within his line of sight. He didn't know where he was going, but he was sure she did. He followed her through the maze of the city, his eyes on her bleeding back. He'd be sure to check that out later, make sure she kept it dressed and bandaged.
As he made his way up to the church after her, he could hear the banging of the door against it's hunges. He bolted inside and headed up the stairs to where she stood, frozen. His heart sank. Had they been too late?
