Nokomis.FL (nokomisfl) | 316 comments What yet unreleased book, or books, are you looking forward to the most?

Personally, I'm waiting for David Weber's next Safehold novel, How Firm A Foundation.

Here is a list of some upcoming books to remind or inspire you.

S'bout it, for me, for the rest of this year.

Sean O'Hara (seanohara) | 2365 comments The big ones at the end of the year are Vinge's The Children of the Sky, King's 11/22/1963, and Murakami's 1Q84.

Kris (kvolk) My biggest one was Ghost story which just came out then Neal Stephenson's Reamde, Vernor Vinge's Children of the Sky also...

Nokomis.FL (nokomisfl) | 316 comments A lot of Vinge fans. I too have been thinking of that release and may need to review the prequels.

Kate O'Hanlon (kateohanlon) | 778 comments I'm dying to read The Tempering of Men. Got its US release on the 16th August, but not getting a UK release until 31st. It almost certainly won't get an Irish release so I'll hopefully be picking up up when I'm in London on 2nd September.

I'm also really looking forward to The Cold Commands, which will be out on the 13th October I think.
That's also the release date for Pratchett's latest Snuff I'm not looking forward to Snuff in any particular sense, I've been a Discworld fan for over a decade and Pterry churns out excellent books with such regularity that I never have a chance to get to a fever pitch of anticipation. Of course since his illness all his new releases come with a tinge of sadness and worry that this could be the last one...

Poly (xenphilos) Reamde for me. I love me some Neal Stephenson.
