Is anyone else slightly upset about the new release date?

Ive heard alot of speculation in why they did it..... First - it was done because there "are no summer blockbusters and this would be a better fit." Second - because they did not want to chance that Stephanie Meyers movie "Twilight" would steal some of their thunder.

Ok, well I guess thats not alot of speculation but it is some. I personally was very upset.

(yes I know/think this is supposed to be for the book, but I couldn't help myself.)

I am peeved off because they did a little survey and said that Twilight would cause a huge crowd more than Harry Potter six!!

even though im mad i have to wait SO LONG!!!!, im glad that hp and twilight aren't coming out at the same time cuz i don't have enough money to see both and that would be really sad! :'(

i dont know which i like best but i'm thinking harry potter! the twilight movie dosn't look that good (compared to the books)

I highly doubt it's the competition with Twilight. C'mon. Twilight is NOTHING compared to Harry Potter.
The HP movies have been around for 8 years; there's a huge group of people that are loyal fans. Twilight is so new, and not everyone is reading it.

hah. its pretty funny how Twilight is using old HP cast :P

depending on how adultish the movies become, Harry Potter was meant for, like, the whole family where as Twilight will bring in a more teen crowd or adults who have read the book. i still think the HP fanbase is bigger. A lot of people compare them, not b/c they're alike but b/c of the huge fanbases. i know a lot of ppl who say that twilight is better. i just don't agree. i don't see what was so awesome about the vamp love series. nothing compared to HP, in MY opinion.

Me neither. Almost every girl at my youth group is all finatik about it and I'm just like, Sorry Im more of a harry potter fan.

At my youth group, we talk about both, we have a mix of breeds for HP, Twilight and the I do not like to read groups. out of thirty girls, 5 girls are HP fans, 10 are Twilight fans, 12 Are I love both and 3 are i don't like to read. it is pretty funny to watch us talk.

GO HARRY!!! Harry Potter Has been around for like, 7 years!GO HARRY!!! I think Harry Potter is WAY COOLER than Twilight.

Twilight is more of a romantic book. HP is more of an excitement book, with more 'reality' about magic, if that makes any sense. HARRY POTTER ROX MY SOX!
