Are these combinations incorrect, or are there other editions to be pulled in? I see one of the Sea Cutter editions is a Smashwords one, but the isbn didn't pull up a Red Stone edition yet.
You'll only see the most popular edition of a book on your page, so the one with the most ratings. That will change over time, and as the new editions get more ratings. Hope this helps!

Timothy wrote: "Yes, because they are DIFFERENT books! Very different."
Then why is each one labeled "Part I" and "Part II" of The Chronicles of Nathaniel Childe? How can it have two Part Ones and two Part Twos?

Both Sea Cutter and In Search of Perlas Grandes are subtitled (Book I in the Chronicles of Nathaniel Child).
worldCat also lists Indian's Ruby as Chronicles of Nathaniel Childe, bk. 2., which is also what you've subtitled Red Stone

When you took the series name off the one book, it then only shows on the book page (and series page, now that Beth created a series for them.)

Hi Carolyn. I had no idea I would run into this kind of problem when I rewrote the books. They are four different books. I am trying to sell Sea Cutter, not In Search of Perlas Grandes. The books are very different. And I am trying to sell Red Stone not The Indian's Ruby. What can I do? Thanks, Tim

But keep in mind, and not to be harsh - but GR is not about *selling* your books, it is for readers. So - promote the heck out of the new ones (responsibly, please), and as I said earlier, when the number of reviews on the newer editions exceeds the # on the older versions, the new ones will show up first/on your page.
Keep in mind, all your editions *are* actually on GR, so link directly to those book pages when you are promoting it.

ETA: Nope, selects the most-rated edition. Sorry!

Hi Carolyn. I cannot rename the books now. But you say that Sea Cutter and Red Stone will start showing up as they get more reviews? Or, is there a way to de-serialize these books? Believe me, I'm sorry for all the trouble. If I had known, I would not have called the series by the same name. Thanks! -- Tim

When someone searched for "Red Stone," or "Sea Cutter," or they search by isbn, they will get the ones they are seeking.
I'm sorry I was so confused! (At least you weren't alone, there, Timothy...I was on the thread yesterday, and thought I understood it).

Thank you Beth! But I'm still confused. The 1985 & 1986 Chronicles of Nathaniel Childe I considered dead. Why do they have to be combined with live books? Oh, well. Thanks for all of your help! -- Tim

The edition with the most reviews/ratings is the one that shows up when a search is done, so yes, as the new editions get more ratings, that should push them up to the front of the group.
