Rebecca | 225 comments Im almost done with the 4th book in the Demonica series. Leaving for vacation on Sunday so I know I will finish the 5th book and will be able to start something else. I like the Demonica series, but I want something that is a little less sex focused and more plot focused. Don't get me wrong I love the sex focus in this series, but I want to switch it up a little bit. I prefer series that are finished or almost finished because I hate waiting for the next books to come out.

So far, I have read BDB, Night Huntress, Highlander, Mortal Instruments, Fever, Vampire Academy, and Demonica,

Gin (gynh) | 32 comments Fever by karen moning is sooo awesome and finished. Succubus series by richelle mead is good and the final book comes out this month. She is a succubus but surprisingly its morr story than sex.

message 4: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) second the succubus series; I also like Chicagoland Vampires and only have read the first one in both of the follow series - Weather Warden (Rachel Caine) and Allie Beck (Devon Monk)

Rebecca | 225 comments Thanks! I suppose I should have looked at the post of complete or nearly complete series. lol

Wyvernbride | 1 comments Kelly Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld, starting with "Bitten". It's just wonderful how Kelley writes. I have read at least 300 books in this genre and Elena and Clay are still my favourite couple :) I'm sure you will love it.

Missyb | 493 comments The Warriors of Poseidon by Alyssa Day. Read the first book and it's a different then many others. The vamps are bad, the good guys are from Atlantis. It's a little mythical. There are also some shifters. One "bad" vamp is a senator. It is somewhat like BDB in that the 7 warriors are close and two are brothers, and each finds their mate.

ℸℎℯrℯᏕα (wwg1wga) | 36 comments Nalini Singh's Psy-changeling (on going) series.

Here's the first book.
Slave to Sensation (Psy-Changeling, #1) by Nalini Singh

Lisa M (lamessegee) | 248 comments A series that isn't finished but will keep you busy for a while is the Dark-Hunter series. You can start with the prequel,
Fantasy Lover (Dark-Hunter, #0.5) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
but the first D-H book is
Night Pleasures (Dark-Hunter, #1) by Sherrilyn Kenyon .
I recommend getting right into it with Night Pleasures. If you want to know Julian's story you can always go back.

Might I also suggest the Riley Jensen books? Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur. The series is finished, and, despite the sudden death of Keri, the last book ended at a place that was satisfying.

Also, if you haven't read it yet, the Mercy Thompson series by Moon Called is the first book in the series. There is a companion series called Alpha and Omega that has some of the same characters and is set in the same world. Alpha & Omega: A Companion Novella to Cry Wolf is the short story that starts the series off. Then the first book is Cry Wolf. While neither of these series is finished--they both have enough books to keep you busy for a while. :o)

Yvette | 124 comments Are you looking for only paranormal or are you open to other genres?

My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers, #1) by Rachel Vincent is the first book in the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent. The series isn't finished yet but there are 4 books. Also it's YA but thoroughly enjoyable.

Last Wolf Standing (Blood Runners, #1) (Harlequin Nocturne, #35) by Rhyannon Byrd -First book in the Blood Runners series by Rhyannon Byrd. There are 3 books.

She also has another series called, Primal Instinct, it starts with Edge Of Hunger (Primal Instinct, #1) by Rhyannon Byrd . The series has 8 books and is finished.
