I don't think the stories are a that much alike...and even if they are Fallen is written better and makes more sense to me.

That's what I think! I mean, Twilight isn't a horrible story... it's just irritating and cheesy. I'm sorry but Edward's an idiot and Bella's even more of an idiot. At least in Fallen Daniel didn't leave Luce becuz he thought he was no good for her or some crap like that. And even then I think that if Daniel did leave Luce, she wouldn't become a emotional, suicidal wreck.

haha... I agree with you when you say that Edward and Bella are idiots... because they are... ESPECIALLY Bella... but that's the fun thing about it... risky and crazy romantic situations that make you surprise...not something lame and predictable...and sorry but the stories are alike... I CHOSE TWILIGHT...

I've only read the first book in the Fallen series and already its way better than Twilight.

i didn't like twilight, i think that they have no knowledge of what REAL vampire is, therefore i don't want to read the books. so i choose fallen for best.

Twilight was kinda boring, but I don't think Fallen was completely boring. I thought that part where he'd gave Luce the middle finger was pretty funny, if random. It wasn't completely no entertaining. That's just my opinion. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

I would choose Twilight. While both were very flawed books, Fallen uses a plot/romance device I loathe and does a rather poor job of using it too. Twilight is cliche, dull, and shallow in ways, but it's bad in a way that can be funny. Twilight feels like a complete story with a beginning, middle, and end, where as Fallen feels like one long book of set up, which is I detest.

I would choose Twilight, too. I actually enjoyed the Twilight series...maybe because I'd never read anything like it before because I don't normally read stuff like it. A friend BEGGED me to read Fallen, and I don't rarely do this, but, I had to stop reading it and sold it to my bookstore without finishing it. I was just really dull and boring to me.

It's just that after reading so many books like Fallen, the story becomes predictable and I'm not surprised by any of the character's actions, however outrageous they seem to be.

Yeah....... I have to agree with you there. There's been a lot of talk about YA books right now. Most people are saying that they're bad, specifically the ones with loves triangles. It's the same story over again, true, but I think it depends on whether or not the author delivers the story well and what the end product is. Fallen doesn't really have a triangle unless you count Miles or Cam. After that kiss that Cam gave Luce in the first book, there hasn't really been anything between them. There was even a kiss Miles and Luce, but she still stuck with Daniel. I don't really think Miles even had that big of a chance. Any way, I get what you're saying about how they're all predictable. It seems like all these YA authors are just copying off one another. They aren't original, especially since the vampire and werewolf craze took over.

Your last sentence is EXACTLY how I feel. Personally, I'm a little tired of all of the vampires, werewolves, fallen angels, and all of this other hokey stuff....Whatever happened to the real world..?? haha!

I'm starting to get tired of it too. I want something new and fresh. I mean, if someone is gonna write a vampire or werewolf book, they should give it a new take and make it their own. I don't stick to books just about those things, though. I read books about faeries, necromancers, time-travelers, assassins, witches, modern day retellings of fairy tales,etc. Those are good. They give me a reprieve from all the vampire/werewolf drama.

I would have to say i love both books and can't choose which one is better. I do have to say when i was reading Fallen it was a bit slow at the beginning and then pick upped a lot and was AMAZING! Anyway, Twilight was AMAZING too. For me both books are like the best.
