Jennifer Is anyone running this show? LOL If its up for grabs, I might consider it if I knew more about it. Unless if the consensus is If it Aint Broke, dont fix it. Ive noticed this is not a very active group and with a group titled Obsessed with True Crime, there ought to be TONS of conversations, because crime is everywhere!! I havent read a lot of books on the subject, (im addicted to court shows, documentaries, etc on TV) but Id be more than willing to.

Tracy (tjohn33791) Amy is the moderator as far as I know.

It is nice you offered up your services but, it is a book site, not a TV site.

Jennifer Im aware its a book group and not a TV group Tracy. Thanks for your two cents.

Sorry Amy, didnt mean to step on your toes!

Emmy (emmob) | 13 comments I agree to a point, Amy, would you like assistance in moderating? I have been wanting to start the Sept/Oct voting for a book, but am not sure I am open to do that.

Lorifog I've tried to contact Amy and have gotten no response so I'm thinking she might have stepped away. I set up a poll for a few months back but then the book ending up being so dull ( to me) that i put it to the side). I'm open to just about anything...I read the true crimes but I read lots of other stuff in between too. I still have Night Stalker on my shelf kinda calling my name....

Clare K. R. (clare-dragonfly) According to the group home Amy hasn't been on Goodreads since February. I doubt we can expect her to be around anytime soon. But I don't think there's any way to make someone else an official moderator without her.

Dara S. (dara85) | 26 comments I also tried to contact her. I don't think you can set up a group read without being a moderator. She has to make you a moderator.

Jennifer Short (jennlshort) I just found this group and would love to see it continue. If there's another way to set up a group read without the moderator, please include me!

Thanks,
Jennifer

Clare K. R. (clare-dragonfly) OK, I just checked and you can add books to the group shelves without being a moderator. You can say it's "currently-reading" and add dates and everything. So I assume anyone can set up a group read. Or maybe it's just me ;) But if that's the case I'm perfectly willing to add the book to the group shelves if someone else takes charge of the nominations and polling!

Dara S. (dara85) | 26 comments I have started another True Crime group called Whodunit--True Crime. If you are interested ask to join and mention this group. We now will be able to have group reads etc.
